I have been using the ghd Bodyguard Heat Protect Spray whenever I style my hair with heat tools and it has quickly become an essential part of my routine. The spray is very lightweight and evenly coats the hair without making it feel sticky or heavy, which is important when you are using straighteners or a hair dryer. What I like most is that it helps protect the hair from heat damage while still leaving it feeling smooth and natural. I noticed that my hair looks healthier and less dry after styling since I started using it regularly. The mist also distributes easily so you only need a small amount before styling. Another nice thing is that it does not leave any greasy residue and it has a light clean scent that is not overpowering. Overall it is a really reliable heat protection spray and a great product if you frequently use styling tools but still want to keep your hair looking healthy and strong. very strong smell though

5 star for the product however giving it 4 stars for the packaging. The lid was sealed with tape and when I pulled it off it took some of the colour off the bottle, I think about it every time I pick it up to dry my hair. However smell is wonderful, doesn’t leave a heavy texture and keeps hair looking clean for longer I find.

I love this product. You get what you pay for (good result) and it is a cheaper alternative to Kerastase. I love Kerastase and have it as a treat but I use this GHD spray most of the time. Effective in protecting my hair and leaves it shiny. It is not sticky and hair looks soft, not hard and crunchy-looking like hairspray. I also like the smell but that may not be to everyone’s taste.
