Wouldn't Buy Again - Faulty
Product arrived on time, so shipping was good. However the moment I plugged it in, there was an electrical popping noise and the apparatus did not work. I promptly sent it back and had a refund. Unable to recommend sorry!

ok for coolboxes not really for fridges.
This is a good product bt its not really suitable for CR Range of dometic fridges, as its a cigarette lighter socket and they are hard wired possible to use but not ideal. Advert was a little missleading about this.

Gekocht bijpassend bij vries/koelkist. Heeft het maar 1x gedaan. Ook hetr vervangen van de bijgeleverde zekering heeft niet geholpen.

Transformateur DOMETIC EPS 817
Dans le mode d'emploi, il dise qu'il n'ais pas bon pour les glacière à compresseur. j'ai une glacière Dometic CDF26. A compresseur aucun problème, il fonctionne bien et ne chauffe pas du tout, et le frigo fonctionne bien pas de problème. je le recommande pour ceux qui veule du 12v.

obwohl beworben nur für thermoelektrische Boxen, auch für Kompressorbox geeignet
eigentlich habe ich dieses Gerät (12v Variante) falsch bestellt: Von Dometic wurde gesagt, meine CDF 26 sei NUR mit der 24v Variante zu betreiben. Ehrlich gesagt: Ich habe mich verklickt. Umso überraschter war ich, dass meine Kompressorbox seit nun mehr 4 Wochen im Dauerbetrieb bei mir im Büro klaglos seinen Dienst tut, ohne dass es je ein Problem gegeben hätte. Nebenbei muss ich sagen bin ich auch nicht unglücklich, die 12V Variante zu haben, macht es doch so Dinge wie "schnell mal den Autokompressor anschließen" ebenfalls leichter. grundsätzlich muss man sagen: Es wird wohl nicht JEDE Kompressorbox funktionieren- wie gesagt, bei mir handelt es sich um die CDF26, also eine recht kleine Box. Größere Boxen haben ggf. einen größeren Kompressor, der dann auch mehr Anlaufstrom braucht. Beim reinen Betrieb ist die Leistung ohnehin egal, da eine Kopressorbox im Betrieb IMMER weniger Strom frisst, als die thermoelektrischen Boxen. Einzig der Anlaufstrom ist wichtig und den kann dieses Gerät bei meiner CDF 26. Aufgrund der geringen Dauerleistung die abgegeben werden muss, wird der Adapter auch nicht warm im Betrieb.
