Peppa Pig: Marvellous Magnet Book

My daughter loves it

I bought this as a present for my best friend's daughter when her little brother came along so she wouldn't feel left out when I gave her new brother something... She is a big PP fan and loved the book. According to her mother it also mitigates the need for a babysitter as it will keep her happy playing with it for hours and she doesn't hear a peep from her when she's using it! The magnets are stored in a little plastic pouch on the front and I can see that a little adult supervision may be needed when packing the book away to make sure none of these go astray. A lovely product and a good price though too.

The quality is fabulous - good sturdy book with good quality magnets - however, the story is very short and a bit lacking in creative writing. And having to move each character between pages can be annoying. On the whole, it’s a good price for a product that will keep little ones happy for a short while.

There isn't to much story involved and with the magnets involved I wouldn't recommend it for bed time reading. Great for a fun activity that doesn't involve looking at a screen. All there favourite characters are included and the magnet is strong enough to hold it to the page but not to strong that little fingers struggle to move them. The pages are bright and colourful and each set in different locations, depending on your child you can make up stories to make it longer, discus the picture of just Have fun move the characters from page to page.

I can't stand the tenacious little swine that is Peppa Pig. However, my son seems to have developed an unnatural obsession with her since my husband showed him his first episode recently. While Peppa is rude, obnoxious and disrespectful (especially to her poor father, who I am amazed hasn't developed an eating disorder given the amount of body shaming he is subjected to by his far from slim offspring), she does keep my son entertained while I contemplate bacon sandwiches (and divorce proceedings). Although purchasing this piece of porky propaganda went against everything I believe in, I have to begrudgingly admit that it is of good quality and my son will love it. I shall, however, look forward to burning it in a hog roast when my son grows out of this phase.

My daughter loves playing with fridge magnets when we visit relative’s houses, but as we have an integrated fridge and nowhere that is in easy reach for her, she couldn’t play at home. Given her love for both Peppa Pig and Magnets, I thought this book would be a good choice!The magnets are held in a plastic section on the front of the book. The lid lifts off and can be put back on to keep the magnets in one place when it’s not in use.Each page of the book is like a blank scene with a few words – for example a picnic area or Peppa’s living room. The idea is that you then stick the characters onto the scene. This is great for developing little one’s imaginations. My daughter will often chatter away to herself when she’s sticking the magnets in, almost as though she is talking to the characters. This book is taken off the bookshelf and played with virtually every day, so I would have to recommend it to any little Peppa fans out there!

My 2 year old nephew is an avid and seasoned pepper pig fan. Having everything from lunch boxes, beakers, high chair, tents, toys, and countless other peppa pig items, i decided to buy him a book.The book was a huge success, and he reads this almost daily. It is well written [for a peppa pig story] with clear and sharp illustrations that complement the story so well. The clever use of magnets on the main characters, and each individual page having a rich mosaic to help captiavte the imagination of the wee tots. The book is so much more than a regular book for toddlers and has all the nuances that brings hours of joy to my nephew.

This was bought for my 2.5 year old great niece. She was already aware of Peppa Pig and was delighted with this book. She was very happy to place the magnetic pieces on the book as the story unfolded. I had to adapt the stories, which are double page spread, as the cat and dog would never have been used otherwise. The final story only has one magnetic page, which is frustrating, but overall it was a pleasing purchase and age appropriate.

My daughter loves Peppa pig, it keeps her engaged for good half hour or more, good magnetic support and light weight book.

Livre vraiment cool! Les magnets tienne bien et c'est très ludique. En plus le livre est très bien fait. Ma fille de 2 ans l'adore.

The book comes with magnetic stickers and a storyline. My daughter is a big fan of Peppa pig and she loves it.
