Angle Mount ONLY for Google Nest Doorbell -Wired, 3rd & 2nd Gen

We love having a Google Nest doorbell. However, the newest version has a flaw that almost makes a doorbell useless. You can’t see who’s at your door because of how the doorbell camera is designed.. The Wasserstein Horizontal Adjustable Mount not only fixed the flaw, but it was super easy to set up. We can now see who is standing at our front door where before we couldn’t. If you look at the photos, I posted you can see a before and after of the camera view through the app. One little hack I can offer you is if you have siding which most houses do, use two washers on the top screw between the The Wasserstein Horizontal Adjustable Mount and the house to level out the doorbell. I highly recommend this to anyone who owns the newest version of the Google Nest Doorbell. This was an incredibly affordable solution and easy to install. It’s well built, you can adjust it for different angles, and incredibly sturdy.

Ordered new Neat doorbell 2.0 to replace our 1.0 version that finally quit working after 5 years. Our doorbell as show in pictures is mounted 90 degrees on a different wall adjacent to our front door. The supplied wedge really didn’t give us the angle we were looking for and we dealt with it for over a year. I finally ordered this one for my parent’s home and loved it so much I quickly ordered one for my home. Install was incredible quick and easy . Before starting make sure to have the tool to take out the top anchor screw on the nest doorbell. Thankfully I always save my original boxes. The adjustable angle is fantastic as it really allows you to dial in a precise angle for your desired view. They also supplied extra set screws for the angle. I added pictures of the installed wedge. Overall very happy with the price, quality, and ease of install.

This should be the standard mount that ships with the Nest second generation doorbell. After replacing our first generation doorbell, I discovered the second generation doorbell changed the cameras aspect ratio and the image is now more taller than wider. Google claims it is to capture more of the person walking up to the door and so you can see packages being left by your door. This is nice but I miss the wider angle view the first generation doorbell had so we could see the person walking up to the door. This mount solves that problem. Easy to install and easy to move or adjust the cameras angle. You can easily adjust the mount to your liking by simply loosening two locking screws. After searching online, I saw this mount at various local retailers, all of which were very highly rated, but Amazon had the mount for the lowest price. If you have or will be buying the Nest second generation doorbell, this is a must have!!

Excellent product it saves the day for me as my doorbell is mounted inside the frame. It enables the camera to get a good view of the front. By design there is a compartment formed with enough space to store the existing wire plus the supplied wire that clips to the back of the doorbell. Everything about installation is a piece of cake except the last step which involves inserting a tightening 2 of the tiniest screws I’ve ever worked with. The one on top wasn’t bad but the one underneath was difficult especially for a far sighted 65 year old. I tried using a mirror which didn’t help as my fingers blocked the screw hole. Eventually I was able to screw it in by just feeling around to the point where I was confident it wouldn’t fall out. Drop the screw and there’s a high probability you won’t see it again

This is a great device for angling your (2nd or 3rd gen) Nest Doorbell. I used it on the latest 3rd gen doorbell. It was easy to install and with a range of angles, it really fit the bill. I thought it was great for the price paid. Seems quite durable, though my doorbell is protected from the elements for the most part.

Easy to install. Worked perfectly for my wired Nest doorbell installed on a perpendicular wall to my front door.

This adjustable wedge replaced a fixed-angle wedge installed on my burnt-out 1st Gen Nest Doorbell. It installed very easily. Getting the base to be perfectly vertical is important. The tiny lock screws secure your selected angle. Once tightened, they seem unmovable. As others mention, getting access to screw in the lock screws is a real pain, so make sure your viewing angle is exactly what you need. Then, never change it again. This is a heavy-duty metal, solid piece of equipment that is packaged professionally with all the screws and special tools you may need. Just follow the simple steps in the instructions. Once installed, I can't even see this wedge base. It is complete;ly unobtrusive in my doorway.

Included screws do not fit the bottom plate, and the adjustable wedge needs bolts on the other side to hold the doorbell plate, which are not included. Ended up making a trip to hardware store to find matching screws

This mount did the trick and was easy to install. I now have a full view of my front door that I did not before. I was replacing an old doorbell and it was fixed in a location that was not ideal for the new camera doorbell, I could only see someone approaching the door initially, once they stood at the door they were out of sight. I had to rewind the footage to see who rang the bell each time. This now solves the problem. The little screws holding the mount position are tiny but they hold firmly such that pressing the doorbell feels solid. Good product!

Very easy to install and allowed for better viewing angle at the front door. Highly recommended. Can’t speak to longevity as it was just installed.

Works exactly as described, looks great and easy to install. Has been 6+ months.
