GOLDTOE Men's Mild Compression Over The Calf Socks, Multipairs

Not sure I would call these compression as they seem to fit like regular socks for me. The fabric is nice, fit fine and style is good. At $7 a pair a fair price for the product. This is an update to the initial review above. After wearing several times I can say that these do have a compression element. Not sure why I did not feel the compression initially, but they are what they advertise and do feel very nice on my legs.

Goldtoe is a quality manufacturer. I tend to wear and wash and wear again so they wear out fairly soon but they are a decent value on Amazon. Love the compression feel and the compression lasts over much time of weeks and months of wearing them.

Very comfortable over the calf socks. If you do have any jiggly weight on you, they don't last a long time. Heel needs to be stronger.

I have decided to buy these socks for the next time I travel overseas, given how many hours one is expected to be sitting down in those torture chairs that airlines call seats. These socks seem well-made, are reasonably good looking, and I like that they are long enough so that they will hopefully stay in place and help reduce the possibility of swelling of my legs. However, I have not used them yet, so I will update this review once I do.

Bottom line up front, DO NOT BUY THESE! I wasted $80 buying 6 pairs of white and 6 pairs of black Goldtoe Mild Compression socks thinking I would get the quality of regular Goldtoe socks. I was wrong. These are so thin and cheaply made it's embarasssing. I wear a size 12D shoe, and they slide down my calves during the day, and I don't have skinny little calves. The toes fit poorly. The white socks are so thin you can see your skin tone and toes through them. I washed all of the socks before wearing them, and after one wear some of them have developed holes in the toes, others have developed snags in the material. Some of them have holes fresh out of the package when you put them on where the heel seams join the tube part of the sock. They're a complete waste of money! The black socks at least look decent, and they do provide adequate compression and help with swelling.

I've been wasting time trying to find the perfect argyle sock pattern that has plenty of color choices and also comfortable for everyday business casual use without them being super thin. Goldtoe had everything I was looking for. Unfortunately, that was not the case with the $100 dollars worth of crew socks I recently purchased nor these $23 over the calf socks. The crew socks are great, but scrunch around the ankles for that less-than-stellar look. The over the calf socks definitely stay up and are great for the nursing home, but they are a lot thinner and less supportive in the heal and toe areas than the crew sock versions which are great for everyday use. Additionally, the color purchased was "navy", but one pair was actually black and the MSRP is listed as being $20, yet Amazon is charging $3 more than list. It appears that I wasted $120 on Goldtoe sock puppets.

My husband loves these socks. He wanted over the calf and he says they stay in place all day. He said he loves that he doesn't have to keep pulling his socks up all day. This is the second set because he loves them so much. They're good quality and the size fit him perfectly. He says the material feels great.

Es un gran producto, la marca GoldToe siempre ha hecho calcetines de gran calidad, sinceramente a gusto personal que sean calcetines OTC hace que sean muy cómodos, ideales de usar para aquellos días en los que se tiene mucha actividad de pie e incluso igual para días que se requiera estar estático, son de gran ayuda, se mantienen en su lugar todo el día, por lo que igual son la mejor opción para usar en viajes largos. A manera ya personal, para alguien con piernas largas y un poco anchas, la verdad se ajustan perfecto a mi, ya después de 5 años es obvió que con el uso y la fricción de los zapatos al caminar se formaron pillings (las bolitas blancas del talón), pero no han perdido para nada la suavidad ni elasticidad con que están hechos. Un gran producto 👌🏻😌🧦💛

Me encantan el color, tela y ajuste. Solo que el hilo sobrante de los rombos, se marca en las pantorrillas y esa marca causa comezón.
