My computer works now much better after I upgrade it with two Kingston memories. I never shut down my PC. I use it continuously 10 hours a day. Despite this stress, I notice no slowing down, no freezing, no blue screen. Today is the 30th day after the upgrade, and I have not yet rebooted my PC. My OS is now stable.

This is a high quality 512 MB RAM upgrade which I can recommend without qualification. I purchased two to replace two 128MB modules and upgrade my readily accessible memory from 256MB to 1 gig--which today's applications seem quickly to be rendering as the default minimum standard. As with any other DIMM RAM Module, the Kingston is literally a snap to install. Even if you've never been inside your computer chassis previously, you should not hesitate to do your own memory upgrade. Just be sure to know your system requirements, since these are available in different sizes and speeds to match different mother board standards and requirements.

Bought this to upgrade an old PC that could only handle about 3 gigs of RAM. I already had two 1gigs in place and had two extra slots, so I grabbed these. Did the trick, worked great . . . wound up replacing the PC anyway in about 5 months so ultimately I should have saved my money. Ah well, live and learn. They're great if you need them tho.

Bought for my sons computer upgrade for the latest piece of software he wanted to run. Would have gotten it cheaper online or even at Best Buy. But he need to use up Amazon Gift card money from his uncle. Module is fine and he has not had any problems.

For outdated memory, this RAM stick is perfect. Excellent price, since just about all ram is the same. Installation was a snap and the computer recognized it with no problems. Just make sure all your memory is the same type or it won't work. for example this is a PC2100 266MHZ memory module, dont upgrade a computer that has PC3200 already installed. Mixing and matching causes all sorts of problems.

I was looking to upgrade my old P4 system w/o having to upgrade the processor or motherboard; memory upgrade was it! After using Amazon's web site to find the correct memory for my system, it was easy and fast to purchase it. Delivery was quick and the parts installation took just a few minutes and was easy. Now, my system boots faster, web pages display quickly, programs and games load faster and even movie video is not choppy at all. I recommend a memory upgrade if you have an older system, mine runs faster than when it was new!

I bought this memory for a Dell Deminsion 4500. Well worth the purchase. I only had 256K of RAM and when I put the two 512K memory modules in my computer, it was like having a new computer. Boot-up and shutdown is faster, opening software is faster...everything is faster. Trust me, if you need to upgrade your memory for your computer, get this now.

So far no issues with it. It's a RAM stick, the computer performs a little better. On first install, the memory didn't quite work with my pre-existing stick from Dell. I switched the slots and then everything was fine. So from my basic user experience, I'd say this is a solid stick to buy. Then again, I'm not exactly performing RAM-tests on it so I'm hard pressed to be confident enough to rate it higher than 4.
