EQUIPTZ Spring Clamps

I really like these clamps. They grip strongly. Yet, are easy enough to remove. They are well made and have a deep mouth which I appreciate because you can get a deeper grip on whatever you want to hold down or together. The mouths opens wide which allows me to hold and run wiring, attaching the clamps to various areas on tables and desks in my studio to keep the wires off the floor. For this the 3" works great. If I need more of an opening I use the 4". I use the 6" to hold wiring up and clamped to the TV stand on wheels so I can roll the the TV in and out of the cabinet without the various wires going to the TV and other equipment on the stand getting tangled in the TV stand's wheels. These clamps are very versatile. Good to have around.

Bought these to secure our frost protection tarps over our young citrus trees. These worked perfectly to attach 20 x 20’ cloth tarps to chain link fencing and secure tarps over cedar posts. The clamps have durable, heavy duty springs.The yellow pads prevent the tarps from slipping during winds. They grip multiple layers of heavy duty cloth with no problem. They are easy to grasp and hold. They open and close with a little bit of effort, which is expected with strong clamps. Very happy they won’t rust like our last set of metal clamps. Great deal for such good clamps.

Don't test on a finger. Owww! These puppy's are strong and just what I wanted and you can't beat the price. Get them!

Clip quality is good, with a strong spring for secure clamping. The swivel clips on the end were made cheaply and easily fell off, but for my needs, they only got in the way. I removed all of the end pieces and for my needs, the clamp works great.

I do love these. They worked perfectly for holding the pee pads up on my dogs playpen, which they always knock them down and make messes. These are sturdy. They also hold their treat bags and dog food bag. Way better than regular back clips which fall apart and can’t handle holding these types of bags together.

good size and grip

These are incredibly strong, especially for their size. In fact, I had some difficulty fully opening them. Just be aware that they are quite small, with a maximum depth of 1-1/4” inside the pads, and a maximum opening of about 1-1/2” between the pads. Nonetheless they were perfect for my application.

If you go to a hardware store, clamps sizes indicate the max width that the "mouth" of the clamp can open. This helps you understand what size you need (based on what you are trying to clamp). These EQUIPTZ clamps use the total length of the clamp assembly as the sizing measurement. This is a mostly worthless way to measure a clamp, but it sure does make it *seem* like a good deal for what you are getting. I ordered the 4" clamps because I needed clamps that can open up to 4" wide to secure a pool cover on an above-ground pool. However, what I actually received was a set of clamps that can open up to 2" wide ... but that are 4" long. So they are actually 2" clamps, which don't help me at all with my pool cover. Also, the amount of pressure required to fully open the clamps is significant. A person with grip or hand strength issues of any kind is unlikely to be able to use these. Also, they probably shouldn't be used on anything delicate because the pressure exerted by the closed clamp is tremendous. I will keep them for other projects, as you really can't have too many clamps on hand. But I really do not like the sneaky / semi-dishonest way these clamps are marketed. I will not purchase anything from this brand in the future.
