FIRST CLASS SERVICE AND FIRST CLASS PRODUCT !!!!
I mistakenly purchased these plugs thinking that they were the ones with the separate insert. Well I am extremely happy with my mistake. These connectors are a dream. The seller is a dream as well. I mistakenly made a comment that I had asked for the ones with the inserts and he pointed out that I read the advertisement wrong. I DID and he still refunded my purchase price against my strong opposition. SO STOP SEARCHING AND BUY THIS NOW. I am 63 and consider myself very tech savy and very mechanically inclined but I could not get other connectors to work. These are so simple. Just strip the wire, slide the individual wires, in order, through each whole, crimp next and then cut off the excess. Do not cut off excess until you have crimped. BUY THIS PRODUCT....IT IS GREAT!! Also I bought a new crimp tool because I could not get them to crimp. The tool is made by Gardner Bender GB Model GMC 1145D. Worked perfect on my first connector. You can feel it snap down. Big difference from my older one I bought at Home Depot. I bought the GB tool at another local ACE Hardware store.

These feel a little overpriced, but they're effective
First foray into Cat6 and Cat6 cabling, after many years of building telephone cords. Have to say, got my confidence right up once I tested my builds and found them working. The cat6 is an evil beast, getting those wires straight and lined up in sequence then through the plugs. The pass-through version surely makes it easier. Not certain if I missed a step in my self-guide youtube training, but found I had to 'over-insert,' snip the ends, then pull back to completely embed the cables in the ends. Not sure if this is exactly the right technique, but they're working great and I built almost a bottle worth of ends worth of cables.

Great connectors but trimming wire ends are tricky without the ideal tool
I received these connectors within one day of ordering. Overall I was successful in connecting the ends of some outdoor Cat 6 cable with these connectors. It took me two tries (and wasted connectors) before I figured it out. The key for me was to strip 2" - 3" of the outer covering from the Cat 6 cable. I then had to straighten out the twist from each wire. Once the wires were splayed out and straight, I was able to start inserting them into the connector. By my third try, I had the process figured out. Straightening each individual wire out also makes it easier to slide all the wires inside the connector so that the cable jacket can be properly crimped into the connector. I was able to crimp the wires with my Trendnet crimping tool. The remaining part was to cleanly cut the excess wire from the end for the connector. For this I used a sharp utility knife and very carefully trimmed the wire ends. While successful, this is not something I would do if I had many cables to terminate. I would buy the special crimping tool that trims the wire ends. But for me, buying another crimping tool for the occasional Ethernet cables I need to make did not seem worth it. In all, 4 out of 5 stars for this product. It does work. It takes some practice and patience.

Great if you do low volume of cables
I have to admit that I am lazy. That is why we use these cable ends. I used to be very good, over 99% on making them when I was young. Nowadays we use so few compared to then that these are a godsend. 100% success because you can check your order of wires before you crimp. With new bigger Cat6 cable and my old hands these work very well and have had few failures of properly crimped and trimmed ends. We always straighten and trim the wires short before crimping and cutting. It yields better results. For the average tech today, it is a good idea to have these in your toolbox. Make sure you get a good quality cutting crimper. (we like the Platinum brand) take your time and they are great.

The ends make it easy to avoid mistakes, saving time, materials, and money on the job
I love these RJ45 ends, mainly because they took the guesswork out of knowing if I had the pairs properly aligned the pins before crimping. It's still a fiddly thing to get the wires of the cable aligned right before inserting them, and they still want to "fold over" and go to the wrong pins, but once you have them fed, you can easily see with these ends if a mistake is made, and correct it before crimping, unlike standard ends where you don't know until it's too late - and then you've wasted an end and time. Once you have the wires properly fed thru on these ends, it's quick to crimp 'em down and trim off the wire ends. I had some minor problems here, as I couldn't get the ends of the wire cut flush to the ends of the connectors; I assume there is some kind of tool for this, but I didn't have it. I could get 'em close, but not perfect, leaving about 1/32 of an inch behind. I ended up "rolling" this over with my wire cutters, and it worked ok. I might need to buy a different crimper or something.

The easiest type of CAT connector you will find. Believe me USE THIS ONE!
I am not a professional but I installed eleven cameras in my house after learning how and buying all the needed tools. At the time of installation I did not see or have this type of connector. The difference in this type is it makes the crimping process fool proof. Once you line up your color arrangement and push it "through" the connector you can easily look at it and confirm your arrangement and then push it as far back as possible, cut at the proper length, and crimp. It took me one test crimp to understand the difference between this type and the standard type and I nailed it on the very next try. It seems fool proof to me. When I used the other type I lost count on how many tries it took me before I was crimping successful. Believe me it was very many. One shot with this one and I nailed it. Make sure you get the CAT5 or CAT6 depending on which one you are using.

Not bad for price but I prefer Klein tools
Great price for the amount but not comparable to the Klein brand each hole is not it’s own hole and there is enough room for your data wires to slide to the next hole by accident

No pude encontrar uno con menos cantidad de conectores pero este resultó muy bueno. Lo ocuparé muy esporádicamente, a menos que sea un producto que ocupes constantemente lo recomiendo, de lo contrario tal vez el costo resultaría algo elevado.

sweet !! Untwist cables, get them in the right order, shove them into the cap so they come out of the rj45. Check order is correct and crimp down hard. Ends coming out of the rj45 will be cleanly cut off leaving a perfectly terminated cable that you know has been done in the correct order and without the cables crossing over inside when you push them in. Worth the money if doing a lot of termination.
