'Her best yet'' Taylor Jenkins Reid, Malibu Rising ''One of my favourite authors'' Colleen Hoover, It Ends With Us ''Magical, delightful, and utterly one of a kind'' Ali Hazelwood, The Love Hypothesis Nora is a cut-throat literary agent at the top of her game. Her whole life is books. Charlie is an editor with a gift for creating bestsellers. And he''s Nora''s work nemesis. Nora has been through enough break-ups to know she''s the one men date before finding their happy-ever-after. To prevent another dating dud, Nora''s sister has persuaded her to swap her city desk for a month''s holiday in Sunshine Falls. It''s a small town straight out of a romance novel, but instead of meeting sexy lumberjacks, handsome doctors or cute bartenders, Nora keeps bumping into...Charlie. Review: beautiful read - With Emily Henry you cannot go wrong. A sweet heartfelt romance you shouldn't miss! Review: Very good - Weird book cover texture but other than that it’s all great. I loved the story

GOODREADS CHOICE AWARD WINNER 2022
Nora Stephens is a literary agent, who has industriously paved her way through her career. She takes a three-week break with her younger sister in Sunshine Falls and the story follows. Beautiful town with a picturesque setting, a bucket list, a book shop, a hunk of a guy, and a few challenges, what else do you need to churn up this cosy, sweet read? A few ups and downs, a few upheavals, a few stories, and a few tiffs are all that it takes to make the story, but the author has woven all this beautifully and with such panache. There are so many thoughts that go about our heads as a guardian, as a professional and in any role that we take on, we go through an emotional tug-of-war and that’s what is portrayed creatively in her book. Every step we take in life we have two options, the right one and which is wrong. What works for me need not work for you. The author has written a note at the end that she loves hallmark movies and happy endings. I am also lured towards the idyllic settings of a small town, but someone once told me that it’s not always that the people are as sweet as portrayed in a movie. I suppose it’s a matter of luck finding people who match our wavelength. It's sometimes nice to read a genre that one usually doesn’t read. A sweet and simple read that moves fast. Though I don’t read this genre as such, this book was fun.

Really Wonderful 🤍
Loved Nora, loved Charlie and loved Book Lovers. Beautifully written, funny, thoughtful and entertaining. Nora and Libby drove me a bit crazy but that is actually pretty normal sister behaviour, instead of having the chat they really needed….But a wonderful ending!

will she ever write a book that isn't absolutely amazing?
5 ⭐️ | 📖 book lovers if she were in a Hallmark movie, Nora would be the ex left behind while the lead goes to a small town and falls in love with a local. she knows that. it has literally happened to her. more than once. when her sister, Libby, decides that they too deserve to have their own small-town-life-altering experience, Nora finds herself spending a whole month in the city that inspired a bestselling book from the author that skyrocketed her career as an agent. what she didn’t expect was to find her nemesis, editor Charlie Lastra, running the local bookshop. while she tries to keep her distance, she realizes this might not be as easy in a small town as it’d be in NY. I went into this book not knowing much. and I thought, I truly thought, maybe I wouldn’t love it as much as Emily’s previous books. I don’t have much in common with Nora. I didn’t think I’d be able to relate to her. I went as far as to convince myself that it’d be okay if I didn’t love it. well, I should’ve known better. even if I had hated Nora, which I obviously didn’t, I’d still have loved the book. simply because of Emily’s writing. what she does with words… it feels like magic. the kind of magic people hunt grimoires down to try to replicate, but it just never comes out the same. there’s a secret recipe that belongs only to her. she has the ability to put feelings into words, and I know this sounds like a basic skill a writer should have, but that’s not what I mean. I just can’t quite explain it. like, in pwmov, when she gave the best definition of “saudade” I’ve ever come across, and she doesn’t even speak Portuguese. i’m gonna leave her own words here, because it’s the best way I can explain how reading her books feel: “This book has crushed me with its weight and dazzled me with its tiny bright spots. Some books you don’t read so much as live, and finishing one of those always makes me think of ascending from a scuba dive. Like if I surface too fast I might get the bends.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️ 🌶🌶
