Exactly what I needed for camping this summer
I have tried everything to make a camping experience better when it comes to electrical needs like charging portable devices. I have tried solar power, but it takes forever to build enough charge for it to actually be useful. What I like about this is that it can be installed in a vehicle or used as a stand alone panel at a job site, for example. Since it is 12v, you just need an old car battery to connect and give it power and you now have several different charging ports and everything is fused so you don't have to worry about surges. It does have some limitations though. For example, it comes with USB ports which is great, but I wish it had plugs as well to run power tools and looking online, it doesn't look like that is an option. Given that there are 2 connections for batteries, it would give you 24v which is enough to run power tools for a while where you may not have electricity. So for now, it is perfect to run items with USB connections but not with items that require more power to run like drills or even a television.
