Auto Dynasty LED 3rd Third Brake Light Compatible with 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ, Rear Center Cab Cargo Lamp High Mount Stop light, Red Housing

It looks good, I got it to match my tails and overall contrast of my jeep. It's not oem quality and is made of less durable plastic but it's just a light and I dont see it being a problem. It's really quick to install just take the 2 torx screws out and unplug the bulb. The harness just plugs straight in to the bulb socket which is nice. Some of the others arnt like that and require you to cut and splice wires. I would buy again.

Previous owner of my 2004 Grand Cherokee installed a different LED third brake light which faded in less than a year to a nice pink color. Bought this one as a replacement but the shape of the back side of this LED assembly does not fit the opening of the liftgate. In addition, the seal is very thin and would not seal the top or sides of the assembly to the liftgate. This would be a massive water leak into the liftgate. Ended up cutting the seal off of the old light and using it but it still isn't great. Might Dremel the back of the light carefully to get it to sit better. Would not recommend this LED assembly.

Easy to install, except the material is unforgiving. My fault, but don't overtighten! One little tweak, and CRAK! It has a small crack in it now, doesn't leak, but dadgum... Just don't do like me and try to get that last little bit. Looks wonderful and is super-bright! I'd buy again if I needed to.

Purchased in May of 2020 and installed right away, an easy task and it should have been a worry free task at that! WRONG! Immediately had issues with it faulting my lighting circuit! When I would press the brakes my front signals would light up, flip on my left or right signal, and the third brake light would blink, and not only that, it would make the front outside marker light blink with which ever side blinker is on!!! To say I'm unhappy is an understatement! Have tried wiring both ways and no change, same symptoms! Every other light in my WJ is brand new and LED, lighting circuit from front to back has worked fine up until I installed this light, take it off and problem goes away! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! It's not worth saving a few bucks to have this kind of trouble!

There's no plug N play here. Now if you're handy enough to do a basic electrical splice, you can upgrade and replace the existing third brake light. The lamp assembly removes taking out two Torx screws with by a #25 Torx bit. So you'll have to splice the black to black and red to white (2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Owner). Check your connections then install your new assembly. Looks great and very contemporary!

They are nice dont get me wrong but they dont sit flush like the OEM and the plastic cracks way easy as you screw in the bolts.

Came out of the box with one wire off of the light. Also it's not a direct plug an play you have to wire it yourself. Cool light tho but very cheap
