Slider Repair-Kit for beyerdymanic Headphones DT 770 / DT 880 / DT 990-Pro

Honestly, I love my headset DT 880's. I love how the thing is completely modular. The plastic pieces of the ear cuffs broke, and this was a good fix for them.

Pricey but they worked exactly as intended and fit perfectly on the DT 990 PRO's.

I have a big head, and so these brackets break on my headphones every few years. Easy to replace, all the parts included in the kit. Thanks

Fits my DT 990's well. My replacement parts came in perfect condition. The image for this product is blurry, but here is actually the cool design on the side of the slider. Each side was simple and relatively easy to install. The slide isn't as smooth as it was before, but may need warn-in. "Made in Germany" badged on the inside. I think it's questionable Beyer Dynamic designed this piece like this to be so easy to break, but the replacement parts are good for now.

Perfect fit! Super easy install. Mine had broken and I had taped them thinking I’d just had to buy a brand new headset eventually. Finally saw these on Amazon , instant buy!!! Back to gaming in comfort. Get these!!!

"How could a piece of plastic be defective?" You might ask. Well you see Beyerdynamic in all of their wisdom made a piece of plastic control the grip strength of their headphones. Yes you heard it right replacing this piece of plastic greatly increases how much force these apply to your skull. And I'm pretty sure mine are defective because there's a lot of force on the back right of my head now. No it's not like they're brand new again. It's more like halfway between super stretched out and the death grip they applied when brand new. Yes these are stupidly overpriced ($30 part for a $100 pair of headphones?). No I wouldn't recommend buying 3rd party because almost all of them look 3D printed. I don't even want to know what kind of issues 3D printing this would cause. If you have a 3D printer go for it though worst case you print it again or buy this instead.

Close, not broken anymore at least but as you can see in the photos it’s not exactly right for my DT 990. One photo shows the replacement and the other shows the broken original part, there is no slit for the silver support/shield to slide into the plastic, so it had to be left off when replacing the plastics.

I bought this kit to fix my DT 770 Pro X headphones which had broken sliders on both sides. These are a different style than the (older) originals on mine, but that didn't bother me at all, as they are still OEM replacement parts and they worked perfectly.

Nice that I didn't have to replace an entire headset for a broken slider after 4 years of use. Still going strong on the DT990 Pro 80 Ohms. The repair itself was slightly tedious but I was on my couch and not anywhere productive where a clamp would have been useful.

L'article répond bien à mes attentes pour la réparation de mon Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro mais il y a plusieurs points à souligner qui vont réduire ma note sur le produit: - l'attente d'une semaine est douleureuse quand c'est votre seul casque en sachant que c'est la défaillance la plus commune des casques de cette marque à cause du châssis en plastique. - le prix à 42€ est une pilule difficile à avaler surtout si on prend en compte mon point précédent qui est finalement souvent juste pour quatre bouts de plastique qui sont possibles à imprimer en 3D pour seulement quelques centimes si on possède une imprimante 3D ou légèrement plus si on décide de prendre un service avec un peu de chance que ça soit local et pas à plus d'une heure comme moi. - j'ai hésité à l'inclure dans mon point précédent mais le manque d'une clé qui correspond aux vis de l'article mérite d'être pris en connaissance. Je ne suis pas bricoleur contrairement à mon père donc je n'ai pas beaucoup d'outils à disposition mais imaginez mon choc quand j'ai appris que non seulement il fallait une tête Torx mais que c'est une Torx T10. J'ai fini par faire mon meilleur cardio jusqu'au magasin de bricolage le plus proche pour prendre le dernier tournevis Torx T10 restant (Stanley Fatmax Tt10x75-Mm dans mon cas) pour pouvoir enfin débuter la réparation. On ajoute 8€ dans ce gouffre absurde qui n'a jamais été un problème auprès des autres vendeurs de différents secteurs qui n'ont pas peur de ajouter un bâton métallique pour peu cher qui va grandement faciliter la vie de leur clients. Pour faire court: prévoyez à l'avance, cherchez des alternatives sinon ne vous faites pas avoir comme moi pour ne pas finir avec 50€ en moins et une espérance de vie réduite.

easy to repair, unfortunatly the price has almost doulbed since i last purchased them
