I love this for filming overhead videos of my art process. The height and angle of the arm is not very finely adjustable since the joints are notched, but that's what keep it from slipping during a time lapse video. The light stays solid in place, even with a heavier phone. Lighting is bright and diffuses evenly. I have been able to keep using this longer than other bendable/posable ring lights and expect it to last a long time!

Unit seem reasonably sturdy considering the configuration, even tho the finish is so so, I wanted to like this unit and if the light was working as described, I would keep the unit. As stated,the problem is the light. First unit that I received I set up only to find out that the 3 light temperature modes only 2 seemed to turn on. The light is also suppose to have 10 dimming modes. Pressing either + or - on the control, turns the light completely off. No dimming function whatsoever. So shipped back to Amazon and requested replacement. The light in replacement unit also didn't work as described, no dimming modes whatsoever. Amazon didn't offer 3rd replacement, so had to just return the unit. So beware, these units are defective. Edit: I was contacted by the seller after posting the review and he provided me with working light ring. So kudos to customer service by this seller, so definitely appreciate that. So I am increasing the stars to 4, because I still think you should not have to go through all of this to get working unit.

Ok, the ring light...the armature is strong and locks in place with gear teeth...nice. Here is the issue that I see as I just set this up. I put this on my drawing board with is 32” from floor to surface. Then add another 24” or so for the ring light armature with the iPhone snapped in place on the ring light. The iPhone clamps are spring loaded and tight, difficult to adjust…not sure I like that feature (maybe better if slide locks like the armature). Also watch out for the side buttons on the iPhone itself. So to take a picture overhead, I right now have to get on a step stool to center and to see what is going on… anybody got a good work around? If not, this is going to be difficult to use for photographing paintings, products, etc. I have to admit, didn’t see this one coming. Nice product, just needs a bit more user friendly features. Ok, I figured it out! All good!! Takes a little getting used to… This is going to work!

— updated to 1 star due to seller’s petty comments lol. How are you going to say “which is not what you wrote” and then offer to help? When it is what I wrote lol. I added pictures of the missing plastic knob (as it broke, which I also said) and a picture of the seller’s message. I do not wish to resolve this with the seller. But I suggest no one does business with them at all. While for the price it is a great item, it is not meant to be moved and or adjusted, which is a ridiculous problem considering none of it's adjustments hold in place due to the weight of the light and or the phone that is on the bracket. So less than 2 months after purchase one of the knobs (made of plastic) meant to hold the light assembly in place has cracked and broke from day to day use, so the whole thing is now unusable. Again, do not buy unless it's going to be in assembled and NEVER touched again.

Absolutely the best affordable desk attached iPhone tripod ever. I’ve bought 5 over the last 2 years. The new improved mechanism that you attach your phone to within the ring light is WAY better than original model. Also it can easily flip from landscape to portrait. I specifically love how sturdy / heavy duty and stable this one is in comparison to others…the interlocking teeth design in the adjustable tripod arm is just perfect. Only thing I wish is that it came with a carry bag of some type.

This phone holder worked great for a couple of months. Very slowly, it started to loosen and droop under the phone's weight, which defeats the purpose of a holder. I like that it's easy to adjust and the ring light is nice. It was easy to put together, but I would not recommend it if you are filming a process or teaching online, unless you are fine with replacing it every year, which I am not.

Got this for my teen daughter for Christmas and it was missing the main pieces (arm and joint), the strip of Velcro or tape and the bag. It was her main gift so it felt like I got her a cheapie gift in the end after the excitement. Guess I needed to spend more. Returned for refund today smh just sad Updated Review: Customer service reached out immediately and a replacement was sent. Pleased with the fact that someone reached out. Product: The tripod over all feels flimsy, the materials feel cheap compared to my other tripod and it’s slightly difficult to put my phone into the top phone holder. The lighting is ok but their doesn’t seem to be much of a difference between the cool and warm light settings. However it was easy to put together and held onto tables easily.

I would choose 0 stars if allowed. Extremely disappointed. Just went to set up my ring light and none of the pieces match what is in the photos (some pieces support a circular frame, other pieces support a square frame). Not only am I unable to use all the features of the product, but I’m unable to use the main feature, the phone holder as the piece I was given extends too far across the circle and won’t fit/nor will support the weight of my phone. I will be seeking a refund and a recommendation of a better product. Not a happy customer at all.

Es práctico, muchas opciones para ajustar altura, material resistente, buena iluminación. Dato importante, no es de baterías, cuenta con un cable usb para conectar a un cubo de celular. Importante revisar la frecuencia y amperaje para que sea la que requiere (normalmente un cubo cualquiera de México sirve). Lo uso con un Samsung s23 ultra y en ocasiones le gana un poco el peso del celular y se mueve el soporte de apoyo para el teléfono, se arregla apretando bastante fuerte, trato de hacerlo con cuidado para no dañarlo. Cuanta con dos soportes para celular, uno en la lámpara y otro.para colocar en el cuerpo del brazo.
