Bought this 16 gallon shop vac during Prime Day and just put it together. I got it so I can vacuum my car and vacuum the garage floor. Instructions that come with it are very clear on both putting it together and using it. You need a Phillips screwdriver and a bit of dish soap - the soap is to ease the way for the casters as these can be tough to push in for a weak old person like me. It is a beast with vacuuming - completely sucks up dirt without hesitation. It came with a muffler so it is not really much more noisy than my indoor vacuum. I have not tried vacuuming liquid and hope I never need to do it (would only be if there was a flood of some sort) but so far I am very happy especially given the low Prime Day price I paid.

Great, high powered suction! would be at least 10 stars if the extension tubes locked together. They fall apart easily and you end up continually stoping to put it back together

First- the wheels don’t stay on, the screws they sent don’t work in the holes and aren’t long enough, the handle screws don’t work, so no handle, and when I finally turned it on, it blew out instead of sucking in. It’s all plastic and a piece of crap as far as I’m concerned. I thought Craftsman would make a good product. Boy was I wrong.

I vacuumed an entire attic of it's insulation.i filled the barrel.i had purchased a 20 ft hose and it had so much power that after the barrel was full it started filling the 20 ft hose until I literally couldn't fit anything more into the vacuum and hose.it kicks ass.the diffuser and some good filters and it keeps the air pretty clean.i looked at all of them for about a week and for what I got I got an excellent deal.it was as good as the best and priced like the worst.definitly a good buy.

Needed a Shop Vac to clean out the ash from the pellet stove. Smaller, cheaper brand just blew all the ash out the back end. Decided to spend a little bit more money. Was well worth the expense. Works great. It's quiet, no ash blowing all over. Would highly recommend.

I got mine used new condition Cons: 1*few small problems one of the attachments was cracked. 2*screws missing for the wheels. 3* does seem to get kinda warm pretty quick. Pros: 1*large compacity 2*Extremely quiet compared to my little 5 gallon . 3*Tons of hose and nice selection of attachments. 4* baffle to reduce exhaust 5* wheels seem to role pretty decent make sure u smack them in tight so the stat 6* volume so much bigger than my little 5 gallon lol 7* used price was feasible to me brand new full price I personally think is way to much for a vacume lol. 8* good suction power 9* power cord is actually super long not like most shop vacs and always need an extension cord this cord is long enough for me to get it all over my shed no problem. 10* hose and baffle clip on for secure fit. 11* extremely light for its size and handle easy to pick up empty. Depending on what you fill it with. Only thing I would really like to see is locking extensions like the hose and baffle that snap together and lock and of course maybe few bucks cheaper but ultimately pretty happy with my purchase so far as long as they send me a new attachment that isn't cracked. Will be nice not having saw dust all over lol. I might get a dust Seperator as this seems like a nice vac I want to treat it good so it last. Keep in mind my purchase was " used in new condition. I will update when I use it for large amounts of chips but I imagine it should perform as well as any other 2 1/2" hose diameter vac. (Update) Craftsman customer service is garbage they transfered me to another company or something who has yet to return emails luckily Amazon customer service A+ and helped fix the situation thanks amazon 🤘. 2 star only because Amazon helped would give 0 stars for vacuum have a 0 tolerance for terrible customer service . Actual vacuum seems ok for the most part .
