Ueshima Fuji Mountain Coffee Capsules - 12 Packs Of 10 Capsules (120 Cups)

This is really good coffee. Makes a great espresso. I’m of Italian descent - so I don’t mind something with a bit of acidity to it - but truth be told I much prefer lower acidity blends. This is a bold, chocolatey roast with nutty undertones. But - it’s quite mellow at the same time with low acidity and a creamy mouth feel. No issues at all with Nespresso machine - capsules perfect fit and high quality. Hope Amazon continues to stock this as I’ll be a repeat customer. If not - luckily my wife is Japanese so I’ll just fill my suitcase with stuff next time we visit the in-laws.

I’ve tried many different brands of Nespresso pods as well as originals. These have to be some of the smoothest, less bitter but strong pods I’ve tried. With most others I get clear water coming out the machine before the coffee draws which waters down your shot, we’ve these I’ve got through a few packs so far and haven’t had it once.

Was introduced to Ueshima Ristretto pods by my friend, who said it was the best coffee...and its true. Never tasted coffee like it, and I'm very picky with my coffee. Can't quite describe the taste, except to say smooth, exquisite and non-acidic. Ditch your Nespresso pods and try Ueshima...Once you've tried this Japanese coffee you'll never go back.

Good value but don't know why they're pretending it's something special. No better in flavour than Amazon's house brand.

I’ve tried lots of different NESPRESSO capsules and none are quite as good as the originals but these come close at a fraction of the price. Give them a try.

I purchased these capsules after reading the 35 highly regarded 'reviews' (?) doesn't taste like coffee (as we know it), on the plus side, there's no bitterness, no aroma, and no crema, its hard to determine any taste and I wouldn't call it 'delicate' I'd say it was almost tasteless - I didn't 'get' any of the usual 'coffee snobs' notes of this or that... bland... straight from the Krups, nothing added. I then stirred in a small amount of ghee and that's the only taste I got... not sure I'll be using the remaining 119 capsules - unremarkable unfortunately. UPDATE: Maybe I was a little harsh... I initially had tried to run the pod twice through the Krups and must have watered it down too much. Today I have used 2 pods and I must admit, there is a distinct 'coffee', albeit not weak, but a smooth flavour and hardly any bitterness - I took it on a more or less empty stomach and felt a noticeable and not unpleasant 'slight buzz' no doubt from the caffeine. So I have revised my earlier critic.

Really nice and balanced coffee

I've tried Nespresso, Starbucks, Sainsburys, Aldi and a couple of other nameless cheap brands. These are the best, and it was pretty obvious from the first taste.
