this is the correct battery to buy for many items. It is not flat but rounded on top and wider which fits much better in many remotes and items. There is a difference between this battery, smaller 3v and coin 3v batteries. This battery was perfect fit for a remote I had and other coin batteries would not work in. I am certain this battery will have longevity, power needed for this remote.
