I’m really impressed with this Waykar dehumidifier. It does a great job pulling moisture out of the air and makes the room feel noticeably more comfortable. Setup was simple, the controls are easy to understand, and I like having both manual and continuous drainage options. It’s compact enough to move around when needed but still powerful enough for larger rooms, basements, garages, or damp areas. It runs smoothly, doesn’t feel overly loud, and the auto settings make it very convenient to use day to day. Overall, this has been a reliable, effective, and easy-to-use dehumidifier. Great value for the price, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with humidity or musty air. Five stars!

I purchased this item last year and used it through the summer months. It is a nice compact size, very quiet, looks great, is easy to clean, and has a simple, easy-to-operate control panel. I like that it has a hose to drain into my floor drain. It worked great all season and quickly brought my humidity level under control, making my house more comfortable. This spring when I started using it, unfortunately it will not function properly. Since I had registered the product at purchase, it was easy to contact Waykar with my problem. Their customer service team has been very responsive to my request and are working to quickly resolve my problem. I am happy with my purchase and interactions with this company.

I’m dehumidifying my basement after water intrusion through my basement floor. Following a freak spring snow / rain storm northern Michigan style. Arrived quickly. It was a box inside a bigger box. The inside box said “this side up”. However hidden in a bigger box it arrived on its side. So I had to let it sit upright for a day to let the fluids settle. Glad I caught that need so as to not damage the unit. The price was good as an open package deal. Plugged it in fired it up seems to work well nice looking reasonably quiet unit. Not as big or heavy as my older unit. The drain hose for continuous operation is very chinsy but works. Seat it well and no leaks. A cheap short garden hose attachment would be a nice touch but I could do that cutting up an old hose. Only relative negative is the humidity readout. I’ve got a cheap hydrometer and my old dehumidifier both read low 50% range but this new unit is stuck about 65%. So don’t trust that reading until you pick up a cheap hydrometer ($10) to verify. Only fix for that is set your humidity target high to compensate. My actual target is 45% so I set the unit at 60% which should get me close. In my case if I didn’t do that and set the unit at a 45% target it would run a long time and be probably at 35% real humidity and that’s not what I want. So pay attention to your humidity setting and the readout versus what you really have. And have a box fan running to circulate your air. Good deal. UPDATE: unit seems to have fought hard to get down to 55% so I set the target to 50% see how it goes. My old 50 pint machine got down to 50% fairly easy. I have that and this new 120 pint machine running in opposing corners of my unfinished basement.

This is a great little unit (80 Pint 2025 Energy Star Dehumidifier) for my 100+ year old basement. I was skeptical upon arrival and unpacking when purchased last year (March 2025), comparing it to my old Toshiba unit that had the same capacity and was much larger and a noise bucket. Along with the list of other dehumidifiers I have had to replace in past years. Once set up and running, I was extremely pleased how quiet and efficient it was. Barely even notice it is running and handles the very humid summers we have here, which permeates into the basement. Also was a workhorse helping dry things up with a hot-water heater leak/failure we had last year as well. My positive experience continued when I recently encountered an issue— the unit stopped working due to a humidity sensor problem. I contacted Waykar support and was pleasantly surprised to receive a response the following day asking for proof of ownership. Once provided, the support representative offered to ship a replacement unit and providing a return label for the defective one. As well as other various methods of returning the unit. It's increasingly difficult these days to find a company that fully stands behind its products and provides prompt, excellent customer service. I am very satisfied with this unit (and support) and will be buying a second unit for my garage.

This has been a game changer for our master bedroom. Some background info - our master bathroom has no real door to close off from the master bedroom, so humidity has always been an issue. In addition, our master bedroom has poor airflow from the central AC unit due to an inefficient and older HVAC system, location of the room from the air handler, and subpar duct work. We also have 12-foot ceilings - our master bedroom air volume is around 2,200 cubic feet and 195 sq ft. We also located in an area that has an average outside humidity of 67%-71% year-round with it being in the 80% range daily in the mornings. I choose the size of this product based on it's air flow capacity, and not square footage due to our vaulted ceilings. When I plugged in the dehumidifier, the humidity was 72%. Within an hour or so, it was already dropping to the low 60% range. Overnight, it kept the humidity in the low 50% range, with it turning off at 50%. It was the first time, in years, that we have been able to sleep without feeling sticky and gross. It is quiet and does run constantly due to the high outside humidity, inefficient HVAC system, and the setup of the master bathroom. But, it does not use a lot of electricity and has not significantly impacted our electricity bill. It is very effective and the size is perfect for our master bedroom. I do have to empty out the water twice a day because I do not have a drain available to allow the constant draining feature. The water tank size is the ideal size for me to handle and drain without struggling due to the weight. I wish we bought something like this sooner instead of just accepting the conditions we were living in.

Great Product and Outstanding Customer Service I was very happy with this dehumidifier. It performed exceptionally well for the first nine months, keeping humidity under control and running reliably. Around the tenth month, it began freezing up and was no longer operating as expected. I contacted customer service, and they were fantastic to work with. The representative was friendly, responsive, and quickly offered a replacement at no cost to me. While it's unfortunate that I experienced an issue, the way the company stood behind its product and took care of the problem speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. Based on both the performance of the unit and the excellent support I received, I would not hesitate to purchase from them again. Highly recommended!

I initially received a dehumidifier unit with a noisy compressor that was too loud for use in a small apartment, especially during nighttime. I contacted Waykar customer support, and they responded quickly and professionally throughout the entire process. After troubleshooting, they provided a replacement unit along with a prepaid return label for the defective one. The replacement unit has been working properly and the noise level is significantly better. The dehumidifier removes moisture effectively, is easy to use, and works well for apartment humidity control. Overall, while I did experience an issue with the original unit, the support experience and replacement process were handled professionally.

I’ve been using the Waykar Dehumidifier for about two weeks now, and overall I’m pretty satisfied with it. When I first turned it on, I noticed a slightly weird noise that was a bit louder than expected—not as quiet as advertised. That said, I previously used a Frigidaire dehumidifier for about 5 years, and compared to that one, this Waykar unit is actually quieter. It’s still not as silent as something like a mini-split air conditioner, but the noise level is acceptable for daily use. One thing I do like is that the unit feels lighter and easier to move around compared to my old dehumidifier. Setup was straightforward, and it started working right away. The biggest reason I think this is a great buy is the value. It’s significantly cheaper than my previous unit, yet it performs very well. I can genuinely feel the difference in the room—the air is noticeably drier and more comfortable. I did not play around the controls but I just simply changed the desired humid level then let the machine runs. Overall, great performance for the price. Despite the minor noise issue at startup, I think it’s a solid and cost-effective dehumidifier.

Produto realmente tira umidade do ar, mas está vazando na parte de baixo. Toda vez tenho que secar o chão ou deixar ele em cima de uma toalha. O medidor de humidade funciona, mas não serve pra controlar o aparelho a manter uma umidade escolhida. Toda vez que aparelho chega na umidade desejada, ele desliga e medidoe de umidade dispara pra cima... e aparelho, logo em seguida, volta a ligar. Parece que ele mede umidade do interior dele e não do ambiente, medindo a umidade do fluxo que ele gera.
