Good product
Purchased at the recommendation of my physical therapist after trigger finger surgery. It is STRONG. Be patient. It does help.

Orthopedic surgeon approved
I stoved my finger badly enough that it caused a boutonnière deformity on my ring finger. The orthopedic surgeon called in a prescription for a similar splint from a local medical supply store. They took so long to get it in that an employee there pulled up this splint on Amazon & I ordered it right there inside the medical supply store. This splint is $20 lower priced than the one the medical supply store ordered for me, and they took 2.5 weeks to get it in. (I told them no thanks, I’ll keep this one from Amazon.) When I showed this splint to my orthopedic surgeon, he asked me to send him the link for it because he will have his patients order this splint instead of calling in to the medical supply store. At my follow up, I had worn this splint about a week & a half, and he said that my progress is as expected, doing well & keep wearing this splint 24/7 unless my hands are in water, for another 2 weeks or so. Make sure you’re following up with your orthopedic surgeon or other doctor. Just for the record, my finger pain intensified a LOT when I first started wearing the splint, and the swelling increased some too. My doctor said this is normal. The first few nights wearing it were so painful that I’d wake up in the night & take it off at some point. This will get better. By the 3rd night, I could wear it all night. If it hurts when you first start wearing it, take it off for breaks then put it back on. I’m able to do CrossFit with this splint on, modifying movements that require grip. I have to take this splint off to type. I can write with this splint on, but it sucks.

Could do bettrr
It was sharp on the metal wire parts. Even those covered by a small amount of plastic. Uncomfortable The white part should fit better and be a bit softer. It was kind of like Styrofoam. Not as good by far as the last one I purchased.

To much $ for foam and 2 wires takes advantage of injured
I don’t understand how 3 small pieces of egg container foam and 2 pieces of wire are worth the $35 to $45 for this item. It seems to be helping with my finger extension. But I don’t know how I’m going to replace this every 4 weeks because it’s not going to last long. Should be $4.99 max totally takes advantage of the injured.

I would buy it again!
I had trigger finger surgery and used this finger brace to help stretch the finger and prevent stiffness. It works well and has been an important part of my rehab. Highly recommend!

Small, flimsy return
Sizing chart is not acccurate. Ordered the S/M size evidently for a 2.5 inch distance. Way too short. Additionally, it’s not even wide enough to fit my finger between the “springs”. This is a super flimsy “device”. It’s essentially paper clips with tiny pieces of cheap styrofoam. Definitely not going to do much if you actually get it on your finger
