Good Fixed Volume Pipettes
Quality pipettes. Holds up well to use, but does not have a "blow out" position. My testing showed that the: 200 pipette delivered 201.6 +/- 5.3 microliters 100 pipette delivered 101.8 +/- 1.6 microliters 50 pipette delivered 53.2 +/- 2.5 microliters 30 pipette delivered 29.5 +/- 2.1 microliters 20 pipette delivered 18.4 +/- 1.8 microliters 10 pipette delivered 8.7 +/- 1.1 microliters Pleased with performance - have ordered more

A 10 microliter pipettor that isn't compatible with 10 microliter tips!
I should probably know better, than to buy the cheapest alternative equipment ($7.99), first, then need to either modify it to work, or return it. Looking back at the description of the pipettor in the ad, it does say this "Universal" ONiLAB Mini Fixed Volume [10 microliter] Pipette Manual Single Channel Pipettor is compatible with 200 microliter ONiLAB tips. But I didn't order the 200's, because I need the 10 microliter tips to load a Neubauer Hemocytometer! So, you'd think the manufacturer would design and make the tool to ACTUALLY FIT the proper tips! Maybe that's just too much to ask...

Accurate volume, easy to use.
The volume is accurate and the fixed volume makes it easy for students to learn with. There is only one stop at about 1-3mm of depression which feels strange, but intro to biology students don't know the difference. The students had fun loading gels with them and so far they have held up!
