Perfect for 40 gallon breeder tank
I had been keeping my 40 gallon breeder tank on my kitchen counter but really wanted to clear up the space so I bought this tank stand. It fits the dimensions of my tank perfectly and is very sturdy. It looks like it's wood, but the leg support system is metal and feels high quality. Building the actual stand took less than an hour and I definitely recommend you have a drill to drill the doors on the stand because doing it by hand would be tough. I love that there's doors on it and allows for storage of fish food and other fish supplies. It also has a hole in the back to allow for wire management. I use the bottom shelf to store two of the Costco 12 gallon bins that fit perfectly. I store other fish supplies in the two bins and it really helps keep the area clean. Definitely would recommend this tank stand. It's the best one that encompasses functionality, aesthetic, and cost.

Very sturdy and easy to assemble!
I’ve had it for 3 years, I have a 40 gallon enclosure on top of it. It is very sturdy and well made, the quality is very good and the price is reasonable. It has a lot of weight capacity, I love it.

Amazing stand
Im usually someone who looks through reviews and sees a few bad ones and decides to look for a different item, but im so happy i didnt with this. Its such a beautiful stand and holds my 40gal very well! Completely sturdy and im very happy with the result. Some other reviews mentioned issues with the doors and i will say that they are a bit finicky, as they arent fully flush with everything and are a bit off when i try to close them but its probably an issue with how i attached them. Even if it wasn't i couldnt care less because of how nice and strong it is, i was very concerned with if it'd hold my tank. Very happy with it!!!

Couple small issues but great overall
Just put this together. The magnets for the doors use a countersunk screw that's too large and will easily crack the plastic (that's not countersunk) if you tighten them too much. The screws for the metal part in the door that attaches to the magnet hit the magnet before the actual plate so it sticks out a bit. And the screw holes for the door hinges weren't located right which makes them go in at an angle. But after it's all put together pretty much works fine. Nice and sturdy, looks good, and comes with three patch stickers if you accidentally dent the wood grain surface. Would recommend.

Solid tank stand and beautiful finish quality!
Build quality is great, the finish on the "wood" is solid and the top has waterproof plastic finish. works fantastic for aquatic tanks since it's so darn sturdy!

Nice stand, and good customer service
Bought this stand for the kids 40 gallon terrarium and it works perfectly for that. I put it together by myself in about an hour, and I took my time. You don't technically need any tools as they supply some, however I recommend you grab your own Philips screwdriver. Directions aren't the greatest, but not hard to follow either. All parts are labeled. Once assembled it feels solid, yet light enough to easily move by myself. Now as for my experience with customer service, it was pretty good. I put the entire stand together and went to put the final cabinet door on when I find one of the hinges was defective (some pins not slotted right). I email customer service as it says to on the box that evening, and they responded the next morning. I was asked for the part number and some contact info and mailed me a new hinge. Came standard mail a few days later and I was able to finish assembling the stand. All in all happy with my buy and would recommend.

Nice, but use your own screwdriver
Nice solid stand. For better strength, the small screw holes are marked but not actually drilled. So you have to apply some force to the screws for them to bite and the included screwdriver sucks. I won't take stars off for that, because it's not that hard to walk into the other room and get a proper screwdriver. Finished product is attractive and sturdy with leveling feet.

Sturdy for 40 gallon breeder tank
I’m super happy because the stand came 4 days early than scheduled time and it arrived today on the same day that I went to petco to get my 40 gallon breeder tank (50% off until tomorrow 10/31 and I didn’t want to miss the discount). I thought I had to leave the new tank on the floor until the stand came. Perfect timing and it fits the tank perfectly (see picture). I was worried a bit that the stand would come with scratches/dent from shipment that I might ended up returning but that wasn’t the case. It was well packaged and no damage found. The parts came well labeled as you can refer to the pictures. It’s very easy to assemble but as per instruction booklet you will need a helper (2people) on certain steps to put parts together. The box came with all needed tools but I will recommend you to use your own normal size Philip screwdriver and hex key to speed up the work. I think it took about an hour for me and my husband to assemble the tank (we both are not handyman). It looks decent for the price paid and sturdy to support the 40 gallon tank.
