I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to make excellent coffee with a French press. The direct infusion method really does make a difference in flavor quality. It minimizes sediment getting through the filter, though I had very few issues anyway. Even without this extra step, the press is incredibly user-friendly. Bought this for my daughter and she uses it almost daily. It's great quality, easy to clean and replace the screens. The material is a thick glass with stainless steel, it's very sturdy and reliable. She has put boiling hot water in it with no problems. The spout is perfectly shaped for pouring with no over spill. You can use this to make hot or cold, tea or coffee.

Great quality for the price. Its attractive, works well, and even comes with spare mesh so it lasts a long time. Its also easy to clean, lightweight, and the capacity is great for 1 or 2 people. The coffee stays a decent temperature if you do a shorter steeping time.

Better quality than I expected. The carafe if a bit thin, but adequate, & the handle stand, I can use with a 1 1/2 pint mason jar with other drinks. As I'm removing plastics as much as possible, it's Ideal. (Although the lid is plastic.) Makes a great 2 cups (1 1/2 mugs) of coffee.

Update I have bought the newer model because I broke the glass in the original model that I had. The new model has a better screen as well, no more cryings getting through. The external cover is kind of nice for protecting it, but the glass is actually like a millimeter thinner than it used to be. I say this because I no longer have to loosen my old stand in order to stick it inside of the cover I was using beforehand. With that said, the new cover though it offers more protection also allows water to get trapped between the glass and the axle unit itself. Not a big fan of that. It's a great unit and frankly makes solid coffee with no coffee grounds in the drink. I recommend it, but if you have an alternative outer shell, I'd recommend it. If not, make sure and take it out of it in order to dry properly. The glass quality seems decent and overall it doesn't seem too fragile. It works, but the included screens are kinda crap and the top is a finger print magnet. It keeps the grinds down mostly, after ya add all 3 together. Which can cause some grinds to get caught between the screens. I recommend picking up Different screen. You want one with a tighter cross weave pattern. With only one of those it'll do the job and you won't get any grinds getting between the mesh layers, cause you'll only need the one. They also have a small metal ring in the cent. Which makes it less flimsy.

This french press works well and makes great coffee! We actually bought a smaller French press from the same producer and we liked it so much that we wanted to get a bigger size. It is very easy to use and easy to clean afterwards.

This makes an amazing and easy cup of coffee. I have tried many methods trying to avoid having to drive to my local store each day to purchase a cup.

I really like this french press. It is easy to clean. The size is just right for me, and measurements on the side of the glass are great. It looks elegant, and was a good price. I'd definitely but this again.

Un belle cafetière à piston qui fait très bien son boulot. J'apprécie d'avoir des graduations. Je suis cependant un peu déçu que le couvercle soit en plastique malgré un colori qui imite parfaitement le métal des pieds. Ce qui fait qu'en terme de robustesse j'ai quelques doutes sur la longévité de ce couvercle, à voir.

La cafetera se ve de buena calidad, buen diseño y me gusta que tenga la medida a un lado así es mas fácil para mi medir la cantidad de agua.
