We’ve had it for just over a month. Works great. Heats water quickly. Love the auto shutoff. Great for one or two people. It is used several times a day. Great value for the price.

Woo-hoo! An excellent product! It has excellent safety features that are extremely important to me: you have to manually turn it on (not just plug it in the outlet), it has clear markings for the amount of water including the maximum amount you should use, it boils the water very quickly and then immediately turns itself off. So there's no chance of boiling dry and starting a fire even if you get distracted and forget you turned it on. I routinely dump out leftover water and let the pot air dry to prevent using stagnant water or possibly having mold growth. I've been using it for several weeks and have zero complaints!

I bought an electric kettle on Amazon a while back, a 1.7 liter size, that didn't work out for us. We have a small kitchen and it was too wide to fit the storage spot where we were planning to keep it when it not in use. It went back to Amazon. So, I went hunting for a one-liter kettle last week that would fit. Amazon had a handful of options, but I thought this stainless steel version would probably be our best bet. (They also have a glass-side version of this kettle. It's pretty, but I didn't think glass was a good idea for us.) We're very pleased with it. This kettle literally fits the spot, which is about 6" wide, 8" deep and 8+ inches tall, and it has everything we were looking for: It is fairly sturdy, sits on an included base unit that plugs into a nearby outlet, has a simple on/off switch that you push down to start heating the kettle, turns itself off with an audible click when it comes to a full, rolling boil, and the kettle handle stays cool, so it's easy to pour into a coffee or tea cup. Looks nice, too! It takes about two minutes to boil 10 ounces of water for the coffee cup I make tea in, the same amount of time my microwave takes, a bit more than two minutes to heat half a liter, but it is slower than boiling a liter of water on our induction cooktop. This kettle takes 4-1/2 minutes to boil a full liter of water, where our (Frigidaire Gallery) induction range does the job in 3-1/2 minutes. The thing about the boiling water in a saucepan is it's not as easy to pour . . . and every stovetop kettle I looked is bigger than that 1.7 liter kettle I sent back to Amazon. So, Yay! Nice kettle. I think it's time for a nice cup of tea. PROS: * Looks sharp, boils water. * Simple to operate. * Viewing window lets you see how much water you've put in it. * A push button and hinge on the top of the handle pops the top of the kettle open so you can fill it. * Sits on a power base that stays put when you pick the kettle up to fill or pour it. (Older kettles you had to unplug the cord.) *The kettle handle stays cool, as does the bottom of the kettle if you want to set it down at the breakfast table. * Smaller footprint than other kettles I looked at. So, if you are tight on kitchen storage space, this might be exactly what you're looking for. * $25. CONS: * None I could come up with.

This has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. It's quick and easy to make a pot of boiling water for tea, or hot chocolate. I use this all the time and it's done boiling in less than 8 minutes and my water stays hot for a long after.

This replaced a previous hot pot. It seems to work well. It heats up quickly and auto shut off is great. My husband wished it had a larger capacity--it is basically 1 liter. It's footprint is small so it doesn't take up much counter space.

Does exactly what you need and does it quickly. I just need hot water fast. This is easily the fastest kettle I've ever had, and the least expensive.

I make a lot of tea. A lot! I had a kettle years ago 15 years ago that was great. Since then. Meh. But this kettle is absolutely AWESOME! It heats quickly. It can be refilled immediately. It takes up very little counter space. It does not leak. It automatically shuts off. It's cute and reminds me of an coffee pot my Grandma once had.

Works just as described. This watched kettle doe boil in just a couple minutes. Highly recommend

La tengo desde el 12 de Marzo del 2025 La verdad está super chida, es pequeña (como de un litro de capacidad) pero está muy bonita, esuy útil, y está maciza, leí reseñas donde se manchaba o se ensuciaba/oxidaba, a mí no se me ha oxidado, pero se me ha manchado ¿Por qué se mancha? Seguramente es por el sarro/calcio que hay en el agua de grifo, pero se quita, le pasas el dedo o le tallas suavecito y se quita, mi novio tenía una de la marca oster, y se me hacía un producto novedoso (sobre todo porque me hago muchos té, sopas instantáneas, café, etc), la verdad calienta el agua super rápido, en cuestión de minutos, y se apaga automáticamente Yo aveces cuando quiero que hierva más de la cuenta, le mantengo presionado el botón (no sugiero que hagan eso, porque no le das el uso correcto que indica el fabricante y porque te puede caer vapor caliente), pero sí sigue calentando. Estamos a Mayo 2025 y me sigue funcionando, denle like para seguir actualizando la reseña, si tengo algún problema con el producto lo añadiré aquí. Pd. La última foto es lo de las manchas, sí se quitan, no hay que alarmarse

Solo tengo unos días de haberlo recibido, pero es buenísimo. Calienta medio litro en menos de 2 minutos y se apaga solito de inmediato. Espero me dure bastante y volveré aquí dentro de 6 meses para actualizar mi reseña! El único contra que le veo x el momento es que el cable es suuuuper corto, como 15 cms. UPDATE 6 Meses: El cable no es corto jaja solo estaba enrollado/escondido debajo de la base. Funciona sin problemas, aunque estoy un poco paranoico con que genere oxido x dentro así que la dejo secando después de cada uso. Por el precio no tengo ninguna queja, pagué $505

El hervidor eléctrico de Amazon Basics es super bueno! Seguro para personas despistadas como yo! Ya no tienes que preocuparte por olvidarte de la sartén con agua hirviendo. Es extremadamente fácil de utilizar, hierve el agua rápidamente y, para mantenerlo en óptimas condiciones, encontramos que limpiarlo con una mezcla de vinagre y agua funciona super bien sin dejar ningún olor residual. Aunque hemos experimentado que a veces la tapa no se cierra correctamente. En general, el hervidor eléctrico de Amazon Basics es una excelente opción para calentar agua de manera rápida, segura y conveniente.

Excelente producto! Llegó a tiempo y en perfecto estado! Tiene un diseño súper lindo. Y se ve muy bien ya sea en la cocina, oficina o en recámara. Yo la compré para tenerla en mi recámara y preparar té o café rápido en la mañana! No quería comprar un producto que se viera feo en mi recámara, o que quitara mucho espacio, por lo que este producto fue la solución perfecta!! Está chiquita, y por su diseño sencillo, se ve muy bien en todos lados. La capacidad de agua es mucho mayor a la que yo necesito solo para una taza o dos al día, por lo que desperdicio un poco el uso que le puediera dar, en fin, funciona perfecto! Y lo que más me gustó es que se apaga sola cuando el agua ya está hirviendo. Puedo salirme de casa sin apagarla y se va a apagar sola! Es un gran beneficio saber que nunca se corre riesgo al dejarla prendida.

Lo usamos diario en la oficina desde hace dos años. Muy fácil de usar y mucha durabilidad. No tiene control de temperatura, se apaga cuando empieza a hervir pero si uno quiere agua más tibia la apaga antes. Hierve bastante rápido considerando nuestra corriente de 120V. Me gusta que tenga base y la hervidora se pueda mover sin tenerla que desenchufar lo cual es cómodo para servir o llevar agua caliente a la sala de juntas.
