It worked when lapping in LS1 valves after a rebuild of the heads. For non-shop work, these will work great. They fit different size valves. Cheap and durable for multiple uses. Easy to use.

Works as intended - not much to say. I guess I wish the wood were coated with polyurethane to keep my dirty hand prints from staining. But, it works fine and restores seal as it should.

When I opened up the product, I noticed the amounts of the compounds were different. They give you two containers. Course grit, and fine grit. The course grit compound container was filled to the top. The fine grit compound only had about 1/3 of the bottle filled. I feel I've been ripped off. Just beware, when buying this. If you do this type of work (lapping valves), regularly, be sure to have enough of the fine grit compound. I did a full set of valves for a 5.7 hemi, and i didn't come close to using it all...but, It's the principal of it though. I feel the fine grit compound bottle should have been filled like the other one. I also think the next time I do this, I'll try it with the use of a drill, on a slow setting to help speed up the whole process of doing this task.

When you need to do a lot of valves, you better get an electric one

Le mie valvole erano molto incrostate, soprattutto quelle di scarico. Le sedi però abbastanza decenti ma da ripassare. Svolge egregiamente il suo lavoro. Io preferisco sempre fare tutto a mano che adoperare aggeggi che si interfacciano con trapani e avvitatori. Ottimo acquisto!
