Fisherman Advanced Tackle Bag

I bought this bag at the beginning of the year to have a tackle bag where I could have all my gear and not need separate tackle boxes for different types of fishing (bass, pan, catfish) and I must say this is the most well built tackle bag I've seen and most of my fishing buddies have switched over to this brand now for the durability and space. With the 8 boxes I have plenty room for all my tackle plus extra boxes for when I go light tackle and wade creeks. The pockets are great for holding pliers and other odds and ends. The strap is very sturdy which is good because if I'm not wading a creek I'm usually walking to areas around lakes that most people dont go to fish. I also have room for snacks and drinks so that's a plus for day long fishing trips with the buddies. All in all I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a quality bag that will last.

Amazing tackle bag. We were originally going to return it since it came too late for the fishing trip, but decided to keep it anyway because it was so nice. Although the description says it comes with only 4 trays, ours came with all 8, BONUS! The main reasons we decided to keep it were the shear amount of storage and utility this bag provides, from holding rods to something as simple as holding the sunglasses. Note, This bag is BIG! bigger than you may want to take on a hiking trip to the pond, or lake, but great for boating and storing all your gear. We don't have a boat, but we decided to use this bag as the main storage for all the tackle and have the tackle split up in the boxes by the type of fishing we are looking to do and use the smaller bag we got for daily use. We're probably going to end up buying another now for a friend who went fishing with us for his birthday.

Absolutely LOVE it. Some complain about size, but it was the exact size I was wanting. I have several fishing/boating related things that I like to keep organized and together. Atop, there is plenty of room for a little cooler along with the 5 tackle storage compartments of your choice. Above the top compartment (in the lid that you zip open) you will find more storage for misc items such as your bags of bait, worms, etc Side pockets hold my hat, poncho, bluetooth speaker, scale, sunflower seeds etc. Front is perfect for outer storage of hemostats, sunglasses,etc. and inside the pouch plenty of room for multitool, filet knife, and other misic gear. It's seriously nearly PERFECT. I don't know what else would make it better, so maybe it IS perfect. Oh, and the price is AWESOME. Comparable bags were double or triple the price. The only part that sucks is that I'm running out of things to buy to fill it up!!

This is our family (two adults) tackle box, and replaced a well-loved, but old plastic box. We did not read the size description, apparently, and had to laugh a bit when it arrived. While quite a bit bigger than the box we replaced, we're both very pleased with our decision after our first week-long fishing trip. We found an use for 6 of the 8 included trays. Plenty of space to grow if we want, and it's really nice to clearly see what you're looking at as you're changing up tackle. Love the ruler that's imprinted into the lids. The best part of this bag, though, are the compartments and pockets. They've managed to make every surface of the bag useful. The inner flap has a waterproof zipped compartment. The webbing that is used on some compartments/pockets is a nice rubber-like material. I wasn't worried at all about catching it on something or causing a snag like I would with fabric. Plenty of deep, fully enclosed side pockets - perfect for sunscreen, flashlights, etc. Tools like pliers, scissors, pocket knives all have dedicated pockets. We always knew where things were and weren't pushing stuff around constantly. Really sturdy materials all around. We can't wait to get out and use it again!

I'd give it five but have not really gotten to test it out and see how functional/ durable it is in the field .Looks and feels like it's of good quality. It comes with four trays which for me was more than enough. The rest of the space I filled with the odds and ends needed for a fishing excursion. There was even enough room left in the main compartment for my small soft sided beer cooler. It literally fits everything I need to hit the water (besides my rods), to be prepared for most the species and scenarios I encounter on a typical fishing outing (even the beer, in case the bite is slow). It is a great way to consolidate your gear.

So my application for this bag is tuna fishing on 3-day trips out of San Diego. Value; functionality; footprint; ease of access; durability and carrying capacity the criteria. This bag hits a home run on all and a double on ease of access just because I’m jamming this thing full of flat falls, knife jigs and all my gear. The zippers are top quality and the pockets meet functionality test. I carry about 80# of gear in this bag and it doesn’t collapse in the middle either plus it has capacity to carry 8-larger 3700 series cases capable of holding 400g flat falls.

Okeechobee Fats T1200 Tackle Bag . I love this bag because it's so huge!! I am using it for my jewelry making supplies. I just needed something to lug them from room to room as sometimes I make stuff while my son and I watch tv in his room. Then sometimes I want to spread out in the living room when I get new beads to fill containers. It comes with 3700 model boxes which I really didn't need. I ended up using one for school supplies. The bag has lots of pockets. There is a zipper pocket on both sides of the cover. Plus one large tall zippered pocket on each side. Then a smaller zippered pocket in front of that. I use the sunglass pouch on the front for tools. It also has a zippered container in the front with extra pockets in that. This bag holds a LOT of stuff. I plan to buy another one to use for overnight trips to my sisters house.

Very good quality/lots of large pockets/ nice material/ good stitching and zippers.
