Excellent Remote
Excellent value and this remote actually works better than the original, which struggled with the poor signal strength. This sometimes resulted in failing to register my selections. The build quality seems almost identical to the original. It worked first time with no set-up required.

Fake buttons for non Humax devices.
Tianxunh make, not to be confused with similar, is reviewed here.. Humax remote only. You cannot program the TV and other buttons of this device and thus for me this is totally useless. The remote I received was an alternative recommended by Amazon as I had previoisly bought similar that worked in an identical way as the Humax remote but was unavailable to purchase again. A proper Humax "equivalent" programmable remote is identified by holding the relevant device button, eg TV, for about 3 seconds and the LED then stays lit to allow programming. This device had a poor manual supplied that stated no programming required but this is probably due to the fact it cannot be programmed! I'll endeavour to purchase another brand that can be properly programmed.

Good replacement for a humax machine

Decent replacement but NOT exact replacement
The form factor, number of buttons and basic functionality of the remote is good, however, this device lacks the programmability of the original Foxsat remote control. The buttons at the top for TV, DVD and AUDIO cannot be programmed using the 3-digit codes in the back of the Foxsat manual to operate additional devices. Entering the codes does nothing. Those three buttons are effectively dummies. This remote will only work to operate the Foxsat device, which it does perfectly well, but it is NOT an exact replica of the original remote. If that's all you need, this is the remote for you, as it has all the particular quirky buttons as the original (like "opt+") but if you need to operate additional devices, like your TV, soundbar, etc, you'll need another remote in addition.
