I was able to call GenTent directly to get advice as to which cover would best meet my needs. They gave me great input to help in my choice. Amazon shipped the product quickly to me. Everything that needed to be in the box was in there. Installation videos were very helpful. Looking forward to using this cover with my generator.

I was looking for an alternate to the yellow Champion cover and found the black GenTent for a lower price. Assembly was straightforward and easy. Noticed many complaints about instructions in the reviews, but there is plenty of information, pictures and videos online for this. I found the included instructions adequate. Pricing may be a bit on the high side, but this is a specialty product, designed to keep your generator dry while respecting airflow, carbon monoxide sensing and ease of refueling without removing the cover. The clamps could possibly be a bit more robust but not enough to knock a star off. If they are installed per the instructions at the right spot and angle, they should last. Just take care not to overtighten the clamp bolts. Overall, I am very pleased with the product and would recommend it.

Easy to install. Great customer service. Quality product. Bought for my Powerhorse 9000 generator. I wasn't sure if I needed to use an extender (to keep it away from the exhaust box). I used their contact form and sent some pictures and they called me quickly and answered my questions. I was unsure if I needed to use one of the extenders to keep the cover away from the exhaust box.. I did need to use an extender, requiring drilling a hole in the box frame of the generator. It was not a problem to do this with my regular drill. The cover fits great. I am going to use the original generator cover when not in use and use this heavy duty cover when I need to use the generator. I store my generator outside, under my deck, and move it to my yard to use. I figure no need to have unneeded wear and tear on this nice cover (it is very thick), so I will put it on when needed. The mounts fold in when not being used so my old cover still fits (even with the extender). To use I just fold the mounts back out, a quick screwdriver to tighten them and put the heavy duty cover on. Only takes a couple minutes, takes longer to plug the unit into my house. Very satisfied.

What a great idea from the good folks at GenTent! This little tentbwill keep my Firman dry and safe during the rain and snow of the unforgiving Canadian climate. The setup was simple and the product is high quality. My only suggestion would be to include the clear flap standard instead of at an extra cost.
