I've been cutting my own hair since 2019. With what first started as a form of convenience turned into a necessity the following year due to the pandemic. With exception to about 6 months where I was maintaining a mohawk, I typically keep my hair all one length using a number 1 once a week (once ever 2 weeks if I am feeling lazy). I cut my hair in the shower using a mirror. Some of the challenges I was running into that pushed me into ordering these clippers is using clippers with a cord was becoming cumbersome. Also, my older clippers would heat up easily due to prolonged use of doing multiple passes to ensure everything was cut evenly. That is where these clippers come in. First, build quality. These clippers are a step up in build quality over my previous corded Wahl clippers. While I was expecting more weight due to being cordless and having a battery, the clippers feel pretty well balanced and easy to maneuver. The blades feel like an added improvement as well, they don't appear to get as hot as my old clippers and do a better job at cutting through my hair in fewer passes. The upgraded guard with the metal clip is a nice touch as well. My older, all plastic guards would occasionally pop loose. These stay well secured to the clippers. Being cordless has been a gamechanger for me. No longer do I need an extension cord to reach the shower and no longer do I have to shift the cord around go from one side of my head to the other. This has made it easier for me to cut my own hair as well as complete it in less time. Battery life has been great! I am usually doing a few sessions (around 20 minutes each) before I put them on the charger and they have never bogged down on me. All in all, I have been very happy with these clippers. While they are not cheap, I wanted something that I felt would last since they would get used pretty regular in my home (weekly). And as frequently as I cut my own hair, I will make up for its cost quickly in savings of not having to pay a barber/stylist.

Unfortunately, these cordless clippers never give you the power that you get from corded clippers. They never cut as well which means the performance is not as good. They’re easy to use and they’re quite portable. However, the main reason for clippers is to get a smooth and clean cut I have really straight hair, and I just can’t do it without corded clippers. I bought these hoping that they would deliver more on the power side, but they under deliver. They’re comfortable on the hand, but the quality feels really cheap

Great product. I does need noise reduction. The motor is louder than what it needs to be. Customers are relaxing. They don't need to hear a loud clipper.

These clippers deserve all the high praise it receives on and off Amazon. I personally was looking for some good quality clippers with some flair. They work better than expected, If not for the expected size of the blades it would cancel the need for a detailer. It clips out if the box from about a 0 to the highest guard level at an 8. It comes with many guards and a sample size bottle of blade oil. The reminder is placed on the clippers to keep blades lubricated for sharp and fluid motion. This was a splurge gift to myself while also having convenience on the road so I would not call this a value purchase.

I have been a barber for 35years. Wahl has always been my default choice of tools. I possess and have used Wahl clippers and Detailers all my professional life and I can state categorically that this is the best Clipper I have used by far. Great ergonomically. Light in weight for the power. Very sharp. They do cost but I feel are good value for money. I cannot recommend these Clippers enough.
