GLCE365 - Seated Leg Extension / Leg Curl

Body solid is quality equipment and I love how capable and sturdy this recent purchase appears. Weight bar is only 1” so I have ordered the adapter for Olympic weights. My only issue is that when I received package it was missing 2x round end caps for leg extension/curl bars. Directions indicate 4x should be included but product only came with 2x. Have messaged vendor and am awaiting response. A quick update… Seller responded within 48 hours and resolved issue by contacting OEM. Within five days I received missing components and my equipment is complete and looking magnificent. I will definitely be doing business with Gronk Fitness again.

This is definitely commercial grade. Came well packaged no issues. Instructions are a set of exploded view diagrams so study them, lay out your hardware and it should be no issue. Put on the plastic end caps first and attach the rear seat pad to the plate before attaching plate to base. Study diagrams for how to position each piece before putting together. The machine is sturdy, smooth and the padding is much better than expected.

2 stars because you can technically use it for its intended purpose and the padding is high quality. However: - You need to buy a separate plate adapter which is extremely poor quality and has a cap that needs to be superglued down - At all positions, the seat back is very wobbly (about an inch of play!) - The base of the seat can't be locked down which hinders form at higher weights - Leg pad position is basically nonexistent. For context I'm 6'0 and both extreme settings barely fit me. If I was any taller I don't think I could do leg extension and if I was any shorter I don't think I could do leg curls. - The bottom pads have spikes on them which tear up any floor mats you may have. - All the end caps are cheap, oversized plastic that protrude and easily pop out. I don't fully regret buying this since it does allow me to do these exercises at home but I really can't wait to replace this with a proper machine sometime in the future. Also for home-gym peeps thinking of getting this be aware that this bench is very annoying to move and takes up a lot of awkward space. What's sad is that with some minor changes this would be a good machine. They could have added holes and a pulley attachment point to make this cable compatible. They could have added a locking position for the weight hinge for exercises like weighted calf raises or crunches. They could have made the loading area removable so you could use this as a decline bench. And so much more :(

Works well for my purposes. Couple gripes people may have is the front pad shifting while performing fast concentric during the leg curl. The other is the end caps for the leg rollers occasionally popping out of place. The machine itself feels very similar to those found at commercial gyms and I highly recommend it. Also if you’re finding that it’s a pain to move (if you need to move it), you can install some small fixed angle wheels at the back base on the bottom, that should allow you to flip the front roller part up to use as a handle when moving.

Solid piece of equipment. It big and accommodates big people. Easy to assemble. Even came with touch up paint. The seat slightly tilts when in the hamstring curl position to isolate the hams. Very nice machine

This unit is nice and sturdy. As good or better than ones I have used in professional gyms. This seller is 5 star also! Great communication and professionalism.

Where do I start. First it doesn't come with instructions. It simply comes with a picture of how it should go together. One picture. No step-by-step. You got to figure it out yourself. Then, a number of the pieces are plastic. And not very strong plastic at that. Several pieces broke while I was installing them. Thirdly, once it was together I discovered I cannot use much of the machine because it's made for someone who's 6'3 and weighs 350 lb. I'm normal size, 5'6, and I can barely used the leg extensions and cannot use the leg curl portion of the machine at all. I can use the extension portion, but only if I sit forward about 6 in from where the back is. This is ridiculous. And of course now that I have it together I can't return it. It's huge and very heavy and there's no way.

J aurai préféré que l assise soit verrouillé, elle a tendance a se soulever et faire un cognement a chaque mouvement . Malgré cela, l ensemble est bien et solide. Surpris par les réglages, prevu pour les personnes de grande taille, je dirai mini 1,70 m.

Me ha gustado mucho lo robusto que es, las terminaciones, la comodidad del acolchado, el apoyo de los pies es regulable y el mecanismo funciona muy fino. Estoy muy contento con la compra.

Appareil d'appartement de conception moyenne. En particulier la mauvaise répartition de la charge, qui s'annule en fin de course, ne permet pas de terminer l'extension des cuisses. Le revêtement est de qualité médiocre.

Ho acquistato questa panca "Body Solid", per costruire una home gym senza più dipendere da palestre pubbliche. A colpirmi è stata la solidità. Una volta assemblata, da proprio l'impressione di essere solida, con traverse in acciaio belle spesse e una seduta larga e comoda. Unico neo (ma giusto una pignoleria), è il piccolo spessore adesivo da mettere sotto la seduta per non rovinare l'acciaio. Leggermente più largo della traversa, tende a consumarsi subito e lasciare una piccola striscia nera quando si regola lo schienale.. se quest'ultimo viene stretto troppo. Venditore Fitness Digital davvero ottimo. Celere nella spedizione, ha provveduto a mettermi in contatto con il corriere per la data di consegna. Precisandomi pure l'orario.
