Sine qua non--without which, nothing.
I loved that it arrived quickly and was silver colored, the picture looks like it's black and I would have had to spray paint it silver to match my "stainless" microwave. I loved that it fit perfectly, and only took about two YouTube videos and15 minutes to figure out how to install. I hated that it was only a tiny plastic part and since I needed two of them $30 seemed expensive. I hated that each of my Samsung appliances has had something like this break. My gas stove went through oven lighters every year, the French door refrigerator has gone through door springs and the vegetable drawer broke and needed new rails and a lid plus a new egg "box", my washing machine was recalled because it can blow the entire top panel off if you wash a quilt, which can kill you. Now I'm waiting for the matching dryer to blow up. It's true I could have spent more for a more reliable brand, but $1,700 for a gas range and another $1,700 for a refrigerator seemed like a price point that should work just fine and not break all these plastic parts..

Saved the day
Fit great, but not perfect. My favorite thing is it looks just like the origianal, and this saved me from having to spend $330 on a new microwave. Its worth a try, to save you that much money.

Fast delivery, fit well, no screws
Came faster than expected, it did fit my Samsung microwave, it is easy to install but save your old screws because they don’t come with this part! The price is high for a little piece of plastic! It should be a pair for this price!

Crappy Samsung microwave handle...
This is the piece that breaks because the handle may be metal, but the stress points where this mounts are PLASTIC. That being said, this is the OEM piece that will fix the caps breaking.

Replacements don’t last long
Bought a pair to replace originals. They lasted about 8 months. The pair lasted maybe a month. Easy to install. I will need to find a longer screw to penetrate the metal handle also to relieve the stress on the plastic.

ordered two of these, received 1 and another wrong part
The one correct piece i did receive was good but I also received a second incorrect part, causing me to have to re-order the second piece again.

Bad durability, but easy and cheap fix
A few other reviewers have suggested how to permanently fix the broken handle problem on this microwave. I’ve attached 2 pictures. You’ll need the #10 size, self-drilling, 1-1/2 inch screws from hardware store. I found a 2 pack at Home Depot for $1.50. I like the self-drilling instead of self-tapping because the screw drills it’s own hole into the aluminum microwave handle instead of me having to drill a pilot hole. This fix is as simple as just putting the handle and caps together as normal, and use the set-drilling screws instead of the original manufacturer screws. Use a power drill of course, and a 5/16 size hex nut drill attachment. It’ll take maybe 10-20 seconds for the screw to drill a hole into the aluminum handle, so just be patient and give steady pressure. As soon as the screw makes the hole into the handle, be careful to not over-tighten, as the plastic caps might crack. Boom... your handle is permanently fixed.
