I bought this as a travel monitor because the price was so good but I would 100% reccomend it even for a main monitor. There is no pairing involved so you just plug it in and it's connected and works great. The picture is really clear and the audio works great. Battery lasted a long time as well. I had it unplugged for a number of hours with no issues. Just a great simple monitor. The screen isn't that big but you can clearly see your baby and you honestly can't beat the price!

​My monitor screen broke so I ordered a new one. My older camera wouldn't pair with the new screen because the internal hardware versions had changed. I reached out to HelloBaby support and they are sending me a new, compatible camera for free! Absolutely amazing customer service. Will definitely keep buying from this brand. Can see my son clearly at night and the sound is great. The new one has temperature sensors too which the old might have had but I never noticed. Really a great camera and simple to use. Love this brand and the price is great compared to others we looked at that don't work as well and need to connect to the internet. No complaints. The perfect baby monitor.

I’ve bought several of these over the past couple years to keep at different places we travel to a lot (grandmas house, friends house, etc.). They are easy to use and work great. I recently had the audio stop working on one of them and contacted HelloBaby about it. They had wonderful, responsive customer service and quickly sent me a replacement monitor! Super happy with this product and the customer support form HelloBaby!

It performs well, the sound & picture quality is good, I can see what I need to see- do I need really need to go in his room or he okay? I don’t want to go in & disturb him if he is going to self-soothe himself back to sleep. It’s perfect to take when you for travel or to have at grandparent's house or at the babysitters. This is the 3rd one I’ve purchased. The 1st one worked for more than 6 years & I replaced it 2 years ago. I actually bought this just particularly for the camera as I needed an additional view. It says that you can use it with 4 cameras. The set up is easy & pairing the cameras to the monitor is also spelled out in the instructions. Well I wish I would have found & read a review here on Amazon written by: “Michelle Shafer-McManus” on October 1, 2023 because I couldn’t find instructions on how to switch between the 2 cameras on my monitor. In her review, she stated that “You can add up to four cameras! … I will say though…I wish that it was easier to switch cameras instead of unpairing the one that is not being in use. “ I don’t get what is the purpose of being able to use it with 4 different cameras if you have to pair & unpair each camera. To pair the monitor & camera, you have to press the “pair” button on the back of each of the cameras every time, defeating the purpose of watching on a monitor. Also if you were to have 2 children napping in separate rooms & a couple more kids playing in another room while you’re making lunch, you would want to have one monitor in the kitchen that you could switch camera views to check on them, not 3 or 4 monitors taking up valuable counter space. My opinion.

UPDATED REVIEW AS OF JUNE 2ND: I contacted customer support, and they were very kind and responsive. Sent me a mew parent unit for the camera for free due to my original monitor having a faulty battery. Worked great until it didn’t. Very disappointed that customer support couldn’t even help me. Battery on parent unit will not hold a charge whatsoever 6 months later, which is super annoying to have to plug it in 24/7. I originally really liked this unit because it doesn’t require wifi, has a great picture quality, you could take the parent unit anywhere in the house and stay connected, but now the battery visibly drops to zero in under thirty seconds and dies.

I’ve had it for about a month, and do love the simplicity of this camera. It’s nice that it isn’t connected to WiFi, and I like the idea that I can connect multiple cameras to one parent unit. I haven’t used Eco mode personally, but my husband said it took a lot for it to actually detect the baby fussing and crying. At one point he could hear her crying upstairs from downstairs before the monitor turned on. I also don’t use the timers, but accidentally tuned it on once and the beeping seems like it would be great for that purpose! I will say, it tends to glitch and freeze fairly often. The monitor will either go black, or will get black and white lines and squares all over the screen and the audio will go out. It usually returns after a few seconds, but still is frustrating at times. It has also started disconnecting randomly but usually reconnects quickly. The furthest away I am is downstairs which is maybe 30 feet away through the floor. Even on the lowest setting the screen is bright at night when I’m sleeping so I usually put it face down on my nightstand. But for the price it seems to do the job fairly well otherwise.

I bought this monitor because my former one crapped out and I am waiting for my newer one to arrive. This happened to be a very cheap option with same day delivery. It’s the most basic kind of monitor you could possibly buy—it does not pan or tilt, show temperature, play music, etc. and is naturally very zoomed in. The eco mode is terrible in that I can’t actually keep the sound off, so I’m listening to the fan in my kid’s room all night long. Eco mode apparently just turns off the screen, but doesn’t wake the screen back up for motion or noise detection. Might as well have bought an old school monitor with no screen. I will say, the battery life is pretty solid. Our first night with it, we didn’t plug it in properly and the battery lasted all night. It started beeping in the morning, which was incredibly annoying, but at least we knew the problem. The field of vision is also too narrow, so we have to back it up away from the crib to actually see anything, which means putting it over the crib is useless. And the no pan or tilt means you have to position it just right at the right height on the right shelf at the right angle, or else you’re screwed. I was somewhat looking forward to using this cheap option for travel, but I don’t even want to do that. The continuous sound alone makes me never want to use this again. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Bought this because I finally got sick of the lag and having to completely close/reopen the app for my Owlet. Mine came used so I don’t know if there was any pairing necessary. The camera is reeeally zoomed in and the cord is pretty short but if you’re creative you can make it work, I used twine to tie mine to the crib on opposite end he sleeps on and it catches full view of almost both sides of the mattress and from his belly up. I was a little worried when one review said there was no way to turn off the volume since we have music always playing- I messed with it a while before finally just looking at the manual which is pretty straightforward. You can adjust sound pressing left/right, brightness pressing up/down, and eco mode is basically the “alert” mode which turns off the screen and sound until it picks up a volume loud enough (low/medium/high options) to turn back on- although I guess I would prefer motion detection it’s not make-or-break for me. Doesn’t show room temperature, but it has an alarm (although it doesn’t count down, only tells you how long it was originally set for) for tracking between feeds which is easier for me to remember to set than using my phone. It’s super bright in night mode, his room is too dark in the day to trigger it off so not sure about the color. The quality is eh, but if you look closely for a minute you can see movement from breathing so that’s all that really matters. We’re in a studio so I’m not sure about connectivity between floors, but I was able to walk almost all the way to the garage (like ~6-7 car lengths away from the camera) before it lost connection. Overall would recommend it for the price, and the convenience of not having to juggling an app feed on my phone.

Extremely easy to set up, plug in and ready to go. Range is much less than 1000ft. Maybe it is that long with no walls, but with 2 walls between the camera and screen, no more than 50ft for me

Cannot zoom out ( very narrow field of vision). I got this when baby was 1 month old sleeping in a Moses basket so it was ok since baby doesn’t / cannot move. Now that he’s 5 months and moved to a larger bassinet, I can’t see him once he moves out of the narrow field of vision for this camera. Also if the baby cries softly , cannot hear very well. But since it’s very cheap, I keep it. I have other camera like vtech which has wider field of view so it’s ok.

ماشاءالله تبارك الله الكاميرا مع الشاشه ممتازين ويوصلون لمكان بعيد بشكل مقبول وجودة الكاميرا ممتازه والشاشه كمان والي عجبني طول سلك حق الجهازين تقريبا متر ونص فمناسب والكاميرا لازم تكون مشبوكه يعني ماتنشحن وتستخدمونها واذا فضت تشحنونها مره ثانيه لا لازم تكون مشبوكه دايما على الفيش بس الشاشه ايوه تنشحن بس الشي الي ماعجبني فيه الفيش فيش أوروبي مو لشرق الأوسط لكن بشكل عام ممتاز وانصح فيه ، فيه خاصيه تنبيه إذا بكى الطفل الشاشه تنبهكم وفيها خاصيه الرؤيا الليليه وفيها زوم تقريب بس مافيها خاصيه تحريك الكاميرا عن بعد بس زوم تقرب ، والي عجبني انها بدون وايفاي وبدون برنامج بس تشغلوها وتشتغل على طول بدون تعب، فيها منبه إذا حابون تحددون موعد اكل للطفل او تغيير الحفاضه او اي شي يخص الطفل ، طبعا مافي لغه عربي للأسف لكن يعني بشكل عام نفس الوصف الي في امزون ، وصراحه هذي الشركه معروفه في امريكا فالأمهات يأخذون منها، شكرا امزون 🙏
