It ruined the color of my hair. It's not indigo.

Zero dye release
Extremely disappointed with this product. I know how indigo works, but this specific brand did not activate at all. I tried using it twice on completely clean, oil-free hair, but there was no dye release or color payoff whatsoever. It seems like a very poor quality or expired batch that has lost its potency.

This product went over my expectations. Not only did it help cover my grey hair significantly, it made my hair shiny as well. Very happy with the outcome.

I love this indigo! It is an even consistency and easy to mix. My hair is medium brown with some gray. After dying my roots with a basic henna mixture and rinsing (no shampoo or conditioner), I mix indigo and hot water until it forms a paste. I allow it to sit (10 - 15 mins) while my hair dries. Then I apply it to my hair, sometimes just my roots, using a hair dye brush and cover my hair with a shower cap. I rinse and condition after 30 mins to 1.5 hours. The longer it is left on, the darker is will become. 45 minutes is usually the perfect time for me to achieve a natural brunette color with complete gray coverage. I do not have any itching or burning with this product and never any staining of my skin. Definitely recommend for anyone seeking a high quality, no additive, indigo.
