Review: Uniflasy 25” x 16” x 3.1” Outstanding Griddle for Pellet Smokers – Perfect Match for RecTeq!
This Nonstick Griddle isn't cast iron (despite the marketing claims), yet it is high-quality mild steel plate on the surface, dam, trough, and sturdy angle steel bracing for excellent durability and support. Out of similar options I've tried, this Uniflasy model stands out as the clear winner. The nonstick coating is PFOA-free (per the seller), and the griddle performs beautifully. Heat distribution is even and reliable - I ran it flawlessly at 475°F, and it should easily handle the 550°F max that many RecTeq models can push. Pair it with a RecTeq smoker (especially with the smoke box attachment), and you get incredible versatility: consistent low temps down to around 120°F for long, slow smokes; baking; traditional BBQ; or high-heat flat-top grilling. It's truly one machine that does it all. What sets this combo apart is the steady, even heat delivery from the RECTEQ, unlike some competitors (looking at you, Traeger) that can have hot spots or inconsistent rises. The gradual temperature ramp-up helps protect the nonstick surface and prevents warping or damage. Cleanup is a breeze: just a quick scrub with a Brillo pad (Walmart brand works great) and some paper towels, and it's ready for the next cook. Honestly, this thing is so good I can picture Elon Musk packing it on the next Falcon Heavy for Mars, he'll be grilling space cows up there! Until then, it's making epic meals right here on Earth. Highly recommend for anyone with a RecTeq looking to level up their flat-top game. I suggest these two Amazon purchases to go along with this griddle or the week point for RECTEQ (The casters). https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0DCBFQ3J4?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08B1JPLZM?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Finally Found the Right Replacement
After wasting money on two other "universal" grates that didn't fit, I decided to try this one based on the reviews. Best decision ever! The fit is spot-on and the quality is noticeably better than the cheaper options I tried before. What I love most is how evenly it distributes heat - my steaks and burgers cook much more consistently now. The cooking surface is also larger than my old grate, which is perfect when we have friends over. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about care instructions. For the price, you really can't beat the value. Already told my neighbor about it and he's ordering one too!

Extremely well built, cooks to perfection
The Uniflasy Griddle for Gas Grill is a solid, well-made griddle. The underside supports make this unit very sturdy and aids in even heat distribution across the entire surface. I see some reviewers commented on warping. I can say that I believe improper seasoning and applying HIGH heat immediately would contribute to warping. I followed Blackstone(r) seasoning tips for my initial startup of this griddle. I set the temperature on LOW for the first ten minutes and then gradually increased the temperature in increments over the next 40 minutes, taking a full hour to bring the griddle to HIGH temperature. At that point, I added 2 tablespoons of seasoning oil and spread it out over the entirety of the griddle, corner to corner, edge to edge, front to back and let it "smoke off" for over 30 minutes. I repeated this seasoning two more times. Throughout this process, there was absolutely no sign of warping. Once completed, I turned off the burners and allowed the griddle to cool for about an hour. I then took a wad of paper towels and my tongs and wiped off the excess residual oil. I added a photo of the grill after this last step. The surface was nice and shiny with no discoloration. The next day, I took a slightly damp cloth to wipe the surface clean, added a small amount of Canola oil and turned on the burners to medium heat. I then proceeded to fry up a pound of bacon and made a batch of hash browns (I ended up using HIGH heat on the potato side to facilitate better browning) and I made a half dozen eggs (over easy) in the bacon grease. Nothing stuck to the griddle and even the eggs were easy to move and flip. Oh, and the food all tasted FABULOUS! After the griddle cooled a bit, I repeated the wipe down with a paper towel and another light coating of oil. It will be good to go for the next use. One tip for attaching the handles: if your grill has enough space, I recommend placing the handles on the OUTSIDE of the griddle. Placing them on the inside creates a cumbersome blockage along the sides of the griddle and can make turning/moving food items more difficult. I also installed the large nuts on the outside as well. I (barely) have enough room and can still close the lid (if needed). I am very happy with this unit; a solid 5 STAR review and I highly recommend this your BBQ pleasure! I write honest reviews based on real life experience with each item to help others make informed purchases. I read reviews too, and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that you find this review helpful!

Sold as new, but was used! Fit acceptable, surface quality good
Receoved a used griddle! I bought two for my Weber Traveler, one was new the other was obviously used and poorly washed w/residue of round burgers visible on surface! I did not return because the item fit and was in good condition once washed. But was def not "new" condition. The fit: it sets into the rack well, and functions well for cooking, but it is a bit too thick. This becomes a problem when collapsing the grill for storage. The excess griddle thickness blocks the automatic lid latch from securely closing the grill lid. When the closed unit was stood vertical for storage/transport it opened and the griddles fell out!. While I wanted cast iron to avoid non stick coatings, with the grills installed it makes the unit too heavy for the hydraulic leg lifts to function properly. I now remove the griddles before collapsing the grill, but now I need to buy a storage bag for the griddles. For the low price, the fit when in use, and the quality of the surface I give high marks, but the used, dirty grill? Do better guys! If you are selling used you should mark it as such!

Stainless Steel Griddle for Gas Grill
Let’s keep it real: I needed a griddle that didn’t feel like lifting a cinder block – and this stainless steel griddle delivered. Fits my gas grill (Weber E-210) like a glove, and it’s so lightweight I can haul it out without huffing. Nonstick nano-ceramic coating? Chef’s kiss. Pancakes slide off, bacon doesn’t glue itself down, and cleanup is just a quick wipe – no scrubbing until my arm aches. The grease trough catches all the messy drippings, so no surprise flare-ups turning my burgers into charcoal. Love the high sides too – no more chasing veggies across the grill when I flip ’em. Heat’s even (thanks to those bottom ridges!), so everything cooks right without hot spots. It’s sturdy but not clunky, and the polished edges mean no accidental scrapes. If you want a no-fuss griddle for gas grill that works hard and cleans easy? This one’s a winner. Ditch the heavy cast iron and upgrade – your back (and taste buds) will thank you.

Stainless Steel Griddle
The stainless steel is solid but not ridiculously heavy like cast iron. My wrists appreciate that. The nano-ceramic coating? Smooth like butter. Eggs slide around like they’re on a skating rink. Cleanup takes maybe 30 seconds—wipe, rinse, done. I also didn’t realize how much I’d appreciate the design details until I used it. The vent holes keep the heat even (no more half-raw, half-burnt pancakes), the sidewalls stop bacon grease from escaping to start a fire, and the little grease trough actually works. Huge win. Bonus points for the removable handles. Being able to pop them off for storage or put them on to move the griddle safely is way more useful than I expected. I’ve made burgers, shrimp, fajitas, breakfast sandwiches, smashed potatoes—you name it—and everything cooks evenly and tastes amazing. If you're looking for a griddle that makes grilling easier, faster, and honestly more fun… this is the one.

Definitely NOT Cast Iron! - Non Stick Coating that Flakes Off...
Long and short - Out of the box, the product looked great. It was heavy, the correct size...I was excited. After it was seasoned, it's a complete mess. Returning ASAP. I placed on the grill, oiled the surface generously with vegetable oil and set burners to low. After about 10 minutes, oil started to smoke, which is what you want. I added more oil let it go for another 10 minutes - At this point, I noticed areas bubbling up - i figured maybe it was the oil that was on the metal when the griddle arrived. After it cooled, I took paper towel to rub the oil off and that's when everything went south. Areas of the metal started to flake off. It was obvious, this was not cast iron. There was a non stick coating on the surface that started to peel off. Not sure why one would coat cast iron? Anyway, I have no idea what the coating was, but I'm guessing it's not for human consumption. Return already started...too bad.

Bit disappointed
Bit disappointed. Lot of food is sticking, even with oil. Difficulties to wash. After 5-6 uses, some stains are not coming off. Wondering if the one we got is defective when I read all the other reviews
