We have a bathroom door that swings shut, and I like to leave it open so the heat can distribute in there (it doesn't have its own heat source). This rope block looks nice, and does the perfect job! It is heavy enough to easily holds the door open (I compared this one with other products, and it's one of the heavier ones). Our indoor doors are solid-core, but not solid-wood, but a pressed form. So, probably not the heaviest doors - but certainly not flimsy. I am pointing this out, because I saw some reviews that said the block isn't heavy enough to hold open doors. I would say it definitely is, for indoor doors. Our floors are luxury vinyl that have a little texture. The block sits perfectly on it - it does not slide, but can easily be moved with your foot to close the door. Highly recommend!

Well made and sturdy doorstop. After removing carpet and putting in wood flooring, doors swing open wider now and this prevents door from swinging too wide.

Looks nice & has a good weight to it. it a door stopper for me keeps my bathroom door open holding it just fine easy to move with the handle I can easily pick it up it’s so far holding up after a few months now, the rope is a good quality from the looks & feel It’s a good dust/dirt magnet that’s for sure I mean it’s on the floor sooo given but I’ve wiped it down no issues. So worth the buy to me idk about heavier doors if you have a slick floor, I think it’s only like 4lbs if I’m not mistaken so heavier outside doors on slick floors you may have issues maybe, maybe not but my floor is concrete and I have a light inside door I’m using it on so I have no issues good door stopper for sure and it goes with my rustic theme as well
