I almost always hold off from doing reviews within a week or two of receiving any items so that I can have a good chance to really use them and I even go back after a few months and will add an update if an item is particularly good or if it failed. This is one of those rare instances where I was eagerly awaiting the delivery so I could really give them a go and no not with a knife to start out but instead a very expensive mandolin slicer that I buried and hid at the back of the furthest cupboard over twenty years ago after not once but twice taking a few fingertips off even being as careful as I could and using the device that you hold the food with so you don’t cut your fingers. I of course had to try a tomato then potato and I did not use the guard, but I was extremely careful even wearing these gloves. The gloves afford you a sense security and comfort and take away that fear that has built up after being bit by a mandolin slicer. The silicon dots that are on the palm side of the gloves if you have them on the right hands that provide a nonslip grip to everything I tried and again provided a sense of security allowing me to work without fear. I did use the gloves with my best knives and they made holding the knife so much easier again I can’t say it enough they provide a level of assurance that you aren’t going to slip and cut yourself. The gloves are rated with a level 5 cut resistance and they really are as good as they sound and as depicted in their video. They are a food-grade and they are darn comfortable this is one of those rare purchases where you know you got your moneys worth and a whole lot more. If you use the gloves as the manufacturer recommends you cannot go wrong. The silicone microdots are to provide a nonslip grip and are not to be used for heat these are no oven mitts and they are not to protect against stabs or even the rotary meat slicer they are to add protection from accidental slips and cuts like those from a slash not a stab. I liked these so much I have already gifted a pair to a family member whom I think will appreciate them as much as I do.

I've never had gloves sized so precisely. I ordered a S, they fit but were snug so I returned for the M size, now the fit is perfect. Excellent construction and quality, even the fingers fit great and that rarely happens. I'm glad I upgraded to the grip dots, they make for a very secure grip for woodcarving. It would be nice to have the dots of both sides but it's not a deal breaker.

Protection on these is good. They were run over moderately with sharp steel and my fingers and hands stayed injury free. The nice thing about this model is the silicone drops on the inside that give excellent grip when anything is in hand. Material feels really nice, fit is good, but, fingers are a bit long. We will see if this is an issue with dexterity over a long period, but initial testing seemed fine for basic chopping/slicing techniques. The silicone grip provides an advantage even if a tiny bit of extra material is in the fingers. Just pull them on tight and there should be no offset. Nice packaging with this brand. Recommended.

I really like these. The old pair I had previously seemed to get their safety by being VERY thick, but that meant I couldn't feel whet I was doing. I grate a lot of cheese, mainly soft cheeses, so I'm definitely up close and personal with the grating surface. These gloves have proven to be the best I have ever had. I can feel accurately and despite contacting the grating blades a few times I've not had any skin contact. I did measure my hand to determine what size to order and found that despite the measurement calling for a medium I really need a large. So, my wife has inherited the mediums and I have ordered a pair of large. UPDATE: The next size up, large, arrived. It is only a LITTLE larger than the medium, but just enough for a proper fit for my hands. If this is not a one-of and is typical of the sizing, I'd recommend buying the large if you are high range medium. And by the way, after grating 6 packages of cheddar cheese I simply grabbed a bar of soap and washed my hands with the gloves on. Easy cleaning of the gloves that way with no fuss.

These gloves feel comfortable and fit well, neither too roomy nor too snug. I can get them on and off easily. I purchased these after a mishap while cutting a bagel. They give me a sense of safety when using sharp knives or a mandolin. I ordered them in black since I figured the color would be less likely to show food stains. However, the gloves washed easily. I am glad I made this purchase.

I love these gloves! They are thin enough to allow you to work with a knife and also provide some protection against cuts. I use these to cut chicken quarters into smaller portions and wanted extra cut protection. I also like putting a nitrile glove on top of them so that they stay clean. They have lasted very well and go through the washing machine just fine - they come out like new.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked the grip-dots model to use for wood carving. I've tried a few different kinds of gloves and these are one of my most loved pairs. My knuckle measurement is about 3.5" exactly. I ordered a small and medium and found that medium fit my hand better. I like that the gloves are easy to use and wash. They're thick enough to protect you from a nasty cut, but I would still be careful as you would with any cut-resistant glove. This pair is rated as A5 which is perfect for my use case. The grip dots are really nice for gripping my work as I whittle as well.

Review update: The seller worked with me to find a better fitting pair and I appreciate all the efforts to find the right sizing. Definitely top notch customer service here. While the new pair fits better they may not work well for our intended purpose of filleting fish. We will try it though. Original review: I purchased these based on the positive reviews. My husband opened his gift, tried them on, and the fingers were at least 1 inch too long. I don't know who has that long of fingers but these are definitely being returned.

These arrived today. I took a risk and trusted the size guide on the site ... they fit - but it is a tight fit. The hand section is a nice firm fit but the fingers are made for skinnier ones than mine. I am expecting them to have a bit of stretch in them so with some wear they should be just right. My son didn't think they looked cut proof and tried them out for himself. He is happy to confirm they work a treat for a slicing action but not so much for a stab - he was smart enough to take his hand out before trying that one :-)

Les gants sont bien ajustés qui permettent de garder les sensations lorsqu'on coupe. J'en suis très content. Je n'ai pas encore testé le lavage.

Me quedo un poco apretado. Es tallada media. Si pido grande. Me hubiese quedado más grande de los Dedos. Pero bien
