I seriously drink this every single morning for breakfast for the past year and love it! I don't find it too salty or too sweet at all, I just think it tastes like delicious cocoa! Sometimes I will mix it with their Fat Fuel coffee for a tasty mocha. I love that it's in packets so it's easy to take with me to work or while traveling. I also appreciate that they use quality ingredients like grass-fed butter and organic cocoa.

4.5 to 5 stars for me. Fat Fuel makes great stuff, I love their base coffee flavor and wanted to give Cocoa ago and it tastes just like hot chocolate :) My 4.5-star comment was for my personal tastes it's a little too sweet, but again I don't eat sweets that often.

A little on the pricey side! Waiting for the bulk 30 oz package to come out for home use. This stuff is really delicious and definitely extends my fasting window by several hours before hunger pangs hit. I fast 20 hours a day & this product makes that so easy! Quality product

I believe there are some unlisted ingredients as carriers for the grass fed butter, coconut oil powders and what not as the total carbs per serving is 7g and there is an incredible sweetness to the product. since there is no listed stevia or monk fruit this is the only possible explanation. unless those ingredients are there and they forgot to label end of the day, tastes really really good! too good maybe:)!! as it would definitely not be a good keto option if there are that many carbs. we have matcha coming too and upon further review, I believe the same is true of that product as well as the coffee. really saddened by this realization today as I do enjoy the fat fuel coffee a lot either fat fuel needs to list a fiber value and unmask the hidden ingredients or unfortunately I won't be able to confidently purchase and consume for the keto diet any longer :((( will update my review if fat fuel is able to respond with the missing ingredient and nutritional information

I have ordered this product several times, so it's not that I don't like it. But there is room for improvement on a couple of points. First: the packaging is totally excessive. Please, Fat Fuel, reduce your packaging! It's so wasteful and maybe accounts for why this stuff if so expensive. I get that individual packets can be handy, but it would be just as convenient to travel with if the powder was available in one large resealable pouch (like competitor Keto Coffee, for example). Second: the flavor is a bit lacking. It is quite sweet (and it seems a mystery to many where this sweetness comes from), and it would be improved by a stronger cocoa flavor. As someone who makes Bulletproof cocoa every morning at home (because I can't handle the caffeine of coffee), I find Fat Fuel the best option for travel. But I would love to see some more consideration put into the product and packaging.

First off, this review is based on my initial impressions. I bought these for an upcoming backpacking trip and tried it for the first time this morning. I mixed a packet into a serving of black coffee; similar to another reviewer's suggestion. It's a deliciously sweet, creamy treat; tastes like dessert! In fact some people, especially who are on the Ketogenic diet and/or have already cut sweets from their diet, will find this TOO sweet, overpowering the cocoa flavor.. As I sit here sipping my mocha, the sweetness stands out more and more. That's part of the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I'm curious how the flavor of the Fat Fuel Coffee compares to this; I almost bought that one instead but decided to go with the Cocoa since it's supposed to have less caffeine. The other reason for subtracting a star is that for those of us who peruse ingredient lists, it bothers me that the source of sweetness isn't fully disclosed. All it says, in addition to the fat sources, cocoa powder, and salt, is "natural flavors". Sure, it also says "no added sugars", but I've seen other companies use that phrase to mean "no sugars, just natural sweeteners" (like agave, honey, maple syrup, monk fruit extract, stevia, etc). Be aware that certain sweeteners can trigger intense sugar cravings, or aggravate IBS in certain people. Without knowing what "natural flavor" is used, I recommend exercising caution when trying this product. I will be monitoring my cravings, intestinal comfort, ketones, and glucose over the next few days to see if there seem to be any ill effects. I may post an update at a later time. Like other reviewers have mentioned, this is an expensive product. However, if you're a Starbucks addict, you may find this to be a cost-effective replacement. Since I needed something dry and packaged in single-servings to cut back on pack weight and mess, the Fat Fuel Cocoa is a great option and the cost for convenience is very reasonable, at least for a 5-day trip. I plan to keep experimenting and will try a 1/2 packet mixed with powdered coffee to see if it tones down the sweetness while still providing some dietary fat. In summary, I would recommend this product because of taste and travel/backpacking convenience, but would caution other buyers to be aware of the sweetness level and non-disclosed possible ingredients.
