These work really well as a starter key and fill light, keeping costs low.I'm glad I entered at this level and not something cheaper.The shots I'm getting using them look great (well, compared to what was there before).I've seen others who spent a lot more, and I think these are performing around the same quality level or better (lots of variables though, lights are just one element).While you're not getting a screen showing warmth or coolness like on more expensive units, you have two controls for warmth and coolness you can blend, that for my home studio works fine. These do take up some room, but it's not over the top.For a home studio setup these are a great size, and the tripods, while not the heavy duty kind professionals seem to use, they have the reach and flexibility I needed.If you're on the edge on price, what I can say is I'm very glad I took the advice to get these unit over cheaper ones.

These are so easy to use and well worth the money. Be careful if you order the batteries for it… make really sure you order the correct batteries. Love the built-in dual light system, soft and warm controls. And the “barn doors” help to add and/or manipulate the necessary lighting options. Be sure you have sturdy stands as these have a little weight to them and using them outside in windy conditions may be challenging.

Good lights. Not super stable. Easy to knock over if you balance the weight. I did just that and broke the nuts that hold the barn door. Still a good purchase for the price. 2 lights with tripods!

Overall it's a great light system. I'm a bit disappointed in the app in some regards. It would be better if it had more customizations for scenes.Also in group mode they will only operate synchronously. The light tubes that use the same app can do other flowy sorts of scenes. I'm not sure why they make that limitation. However, being able to set a scene quickly and being able to turn them off and on remotely makes shooting a much easier process.Brightness of the panels seems to have a hard shutoff on the low end to prevent flicker. It's not a deal breaker for me but it would be nice if they could go a bit lower in brightness for places that I have more ambient lighting.The stands are not top of the line but I included the photo so you could see the correct way to use them, essentially all the other reviews were bashing the assembly when the key issue is they need to remove the thread cap. If the cap was half as tall then you could in theory leave it on but it would still be somewhat proud. I think this should still be redesigned and the instructions improved.

Another awesome addition to my video equipment. They work great! And easy to use. They take 2 batteries each, not included. But you can also plug them in as well. Very nice.

Just what I needed for my over head rig. Way brighter than I need which is great. Solid construction, great build quality. Tons of features. If you’re trying to decide between the which newer led panels you should get in comparison to one another this is the set.Just wish they would have come with softboxes.
