Works great and does it job. Well worth the money. Now I can finally feel comfortable shredding and putting in trash. Hasn't had it jam and I usually shredding 8 to 10 pages at a time. Very durable and it looks nice.

Works great! Pretty small, but works so well cutting it all into confetti that it holds a LOT! Works great on lots of papers in a row, boxes from food packaging, and boxes from Amazon. Never overheated like my old one of the same size. A bit loud because it is surprisingly powerful. I only wish it had a pull-out drawer instead of a lift-off top! But...they added a handle to the top! Makes it so much easier to life, and to replace without pinching fingers. This is a quality machine. I keep it in the kitchen and put all paper and cardboard packaging through it, as well as any loose paper and mail we get. Saves so much space in the trash! I have multiple litterboxes and use shreds for a couple of them that I dump daily, stretching the cost of replacement litter used in the others. I also use it to shred cardboard for my garden. My daughter likes to shred construction paper then play with the confetti nuggets that come out in different thicknesses depending on how many she shreds simultaneously.

Seems to work very well. There is one quirk that is preventable if you leave the switch set to auto and you have a power outage, the shredder runs for a few seconds when the power is restored. That can be jarring in the middle of the night if you’re a light sleeper. The workaround is just to keep the switch in the off position instead of auto.

The star rating reflects functionality and value for the money rather than whether or not it seems like a premium product. We paid around $50 for this. Which is (as you might know) very inexpensive for a paper shredder. The fact that it even works for this price is an accomplishment. It's very basic and some aspects of it reveal the fact that it's a budget model. There are few frills and the material of the collection bin looks and feels cheap and flimsy. But it only needs to exist and collect shredded paper. It does that. The reason I bought this one rather than a higher priced model is that the people who use it have gone through much more expensive shredders in less than a year. I did not test this thing to it's limit. It will shred a few pages at a time with little trouble. It bogs down a bit if you put in more than a few. I personally would not try 12 sheets but it might handle it for all I know. It has not jammed yet but pretty much any shredder is capable of jamming under certain circumstances. If you don't expect a premium product at an extreme budget price, you'll probably be satisfied with this.

Nice home shredder for price. Does the job very well and easy to use. Not to big but a nice size for home office. Highly recommend.

I have used this brand in the past and i like the way it shreds paper. It is a good value for the price. I do recommend the lubrication sheets to keep your shredder humming along and working soundly. I shred all documents that have my information on it and for spam mail sent to me, I can enjoy the thrill of just shredding it in the envelope (although I do check to make sure no one put a nickel or penny inside). I have not had jamming issues, but I do respect the page limit. It does slow down if you put a lot of paper in at once. So I usually pull back for the next batch until I forget again. The function keys are simple. I appreciate that there is an auto, plus a forward and backward to help undo a paper jam quickly and easily. They shred portion top is a little heavy (but well made) and it is very simple to move about the house for all my shredding needs. I like that there is a window to keep an eye on the level of paper, but if you accidentally overfill it, the top pops up and stops working so that is also helpful. I would not recommend this for an office. it is just for home use, but it has a good capacity and has not overheated on me. When I take the top portion off, there are generally always some strips of paper that get loose, so i try to tap that against my garbage bin first to prevent it from getting on the floor.

Works great and cross sheds everything on automatic .Handle makes it easy to empty without a cleanup and has good capacity.

Love this shredder! The conatiner is bigger than the average 4 gallon. It is super quiet and shreds like a dream (very tiny pieces) . But I specially love that it has a handle, which makes it so much easier to lift the top. I put a garbage bag in the bin and it's so easy to empty! I haven't tried to shred more than 4 sheets at once and it does that with ease. Perfect for my needs.

I bought this to replace a lousy cheap thing in my office. My needs are modest. I have a Rexel domestic product at home that has chugged on for 20 years of self-employed duty, it shreds two pages at a time if they're not thick. It gets hot and is slow and easy to jam, but has been reliable. This shredder is about the same noise level as my Rexel, does cross cut pretty well, and has a good sized bucket for the shreds, with a window which is indeed very useful. It isn't particularly fast and it copes with maybe four sheets of paper, but I stick to two because more just slows it down, stresses the thing, and will reduce it's lifespan. It is listed as for light office duty, I think that's a good description. To me it's work is a few sheets regularly, with infrequent sessions shredding the odd ream of old files. If that is your workload, this will do fine. If you need something fast and dependable for regular office file shredding, can't take the time to remove staples &c, or need 12 sheets shredded at a time, I would suggest look at paying a fair bit more for a commercial-duty shredder which this does not pretend to be. It has a reverse 'always on' setting for clearing jams, but no 'always on' forward setting which can be useful. However, it stays on for a couple of seconds after the paper has passed through which goes a long way to clearing any impending jams.

This shredder is very efficient. The capacity is also good. I have been very impressed so far. No jamming but I put less through so that it won't happen. It was on offer when I bought it too.
