Low maintanence and huge time saver!
This is a huge time saver! Our last paper folder was 15-30 years old (no one really knew how old it was) and it required a huge amount of maintenance. This one is so much easier to work with and it's such a space safer from the one we previously had. I love how small it is and it gets the job done quickly! It is a little pricey for how much they're asking but if it's a long-term machine you're looking for, this one will get the job done. This machine is the same brand as our previous one so we know it's a reliable and quality company to go with!

Excellent Folder with good features.
This folder works beautifully. I had it assembled in about 5 minutes. Definitely need to follow the instructions as to fold type, paper size, etc. But that only takes a minute. I was impressed with how sturdy the machine was. I was expecting plastic, but it's actually metal! I highly recommend it. I was pleased that it allowed hand feed for multiple pages. The only thing missing was a counter, but I can manage that with my printing.

It folds as it should.
Machine folds as it should, but the constant squeak it makes while running is obnoxious. We can hear it throughout our elementary school. Oiling did not help this issue at all.

Touchy, but works well when setup properly.
Read the manuals. Align the paper-width guides carefully, make sure they are parallel. Take a piece of paper and mark the top of one side of the page. Put it through and see where the folds end up with a ruler and think about how you will need to the load the paper (head up/down, face up/down). Make adjustments, then run another paper. Repeat again, and again, until you are satisfied. You will sacrifice several pages of paper until it is right. The machine is unforgiving, if the paper snags or jams, or the rails and stops are out of alignment, it will mangle the paper. You need to adjust it carefully. This is a commercial product that requires a level of precision to operate properly. Different types of paper will behave differently.

Find a machine that manages the papers better as they exit.
Initially the unit worked fine, but it started acting up soon after. The stacker is as worthless as it looks. Papers will flip over to the wrong side. Papers will fall sideways and will land on the floor. It's basically impossible to get the papers out in the same order as they enter. The papers will stall out on exiting the machine and the next paper will cross over the previous. Sometimes a paper will end up inside of another one. Some papers will end up on the floor and you won't know where in the stack they belong. It's a mess. I tried contacting the company to get a different machine, but they refused. This machine doesn't work. They know it, but they sell it anyway.

Wrong Screws!
Typical high-expectations, low-satisfaction. The output tray assembly has 3 plastic supports that require two screws each. Screws are provided - EXCEPT THEY ARE MACHINE SCREWS, which have zero thread-bite into the plastic. The screws simply slide in, not screw in. How is it that we're in the 21st century and we still have a 1950's parts quality problem? Wouldn't it be nice to purchase a brand-name product just once and not have one single problem like this?

great machine!
Very good machine for the money! We are a church and use it to fold our bulletins and newsletters. Setup was a little challenging, especially to align it correctly, but the instructions help out immensely! There is a little squeak coming from the rollers, but only when it is not feeding paper into the folder, otherwise it is quieter than the folder we replaced it with. Great value for the money!

Destroys paper with ink on half-folds setting
I took my time to assemble properly and made all of the precise adjustments. Used this machine for half folds only. Only folds blank paper correctly. If ink is on paper, it destroys the half folds with these double folded edges, called bunny ears on Google, rendering the machine useless to me. Was told by tech support I had to clean the rollers with soap and water after every use to be sure the paper would not slip. I gave this machine two stars because it folds blank paper perfectly but paper with ink, it only folds at about a 50% success rate. I know I assembled it correctly because it folds blank paper perfectly almost 100% of the time.
