Command Medium (10 lb) Picture Hanging Strips, 16 Pairs (32 Strips)

I use these often, and they are great for saving my walls. No more nail holes, and if you follow the directions, no peeling paint. A couple of suggestions for anyone new to these, so you can benefit from my trial and error: 1. Make sure the surface you're applying to is clean, especially kitchen walls which may have unseen residue typical from regular cooking. Otherwise, you may experience issues with adhesion over time. 2. Choose a less humid day to hang these. If that's not an option, wipe your surface area thoroughly with a damp cloth, then run a fan on it for a bit until thoroughly dry. Keep fan running during application if possible. 3. Use more than you think you'll need based on the packaging suggestion. I typically use two pairs of strips (top and bottom) for anything 8 x 10 or larger, or for anything with any weight to it. An extra strip may be more than you need, but trust me, you don't want to end up with less than you need when your cherished portrait comes crashing to the floor. In my many, many uses of these strips, I have fortunately only had this happen once. These strips are quite sturdy. 4. It can be easier to hang items if you first press the strips together, then apply the sticky sides to the item you are hanging, and then finally to the surface on which you're hanging the item. A small level set on top of your picture/item will ensure a nice even look. 4. When removing, pull the tab while applying mild pressure to the strip, holding it against the application surface. This will lessen the likelihood of a chunk of paint from being pulled off. Overall, this is a great, very useful product which will allow you to hang and change up your favorite decor without damaging your walls. Highly recommended.

These Command strips work great and make hanging pictures so much easier. They hold securely without having to put holes in the wall, and installation is quick and simple. I also like that they can be removed cleanly when needed. The larger pack is convenient to have around the house for pictures and other lightweight decor. Definitely something I like to keep on hand.

I use these picture hanging strips on cinderblock walls and they work really well. I let them cure on the wall for 24 hours before I hang whatever it is I’m hanging. The strips have to be removed at the end of every school year and they come off fairly well. I like that they hold up to 10 pounds and that they REALLY do!!! Lots of brands will advertise they hold heavy weight, but they don’t. These are a win!

I am a renter, and mounted a vacuum hanging charging station to a piece of wood from Home Depot and tried to stick the wood to the wall using these command strips to avoid putting holes in the wall. After following all the instructions, the wood fell off the strips about 30 minutes after I hung them. I waited the required amount of time before hanging them and the vacuum is well under the weight limit for 4 strip pairs. I think there might have been a waxy coating on the wood? I was pretty sad that didn’t work but very happy it didn’t take any paint off the wall (both sides remained on the wall). I have used these for several other lighter things around the house and they have stayed for 8+ months so far. I’m not really sure what was wrong with this specific project but overall these strips tend to work great. My only complaint usually is that what you’re hanging won’t lay completely flush with the wall; it will stick out a tiny bit. They remove very well, and don’t take any paint off or leave much residue if they are taken off correctly. If they are pulled away from the wall instead of down as the instructions say they will definitely pull off paint though.

The best thing that was invented for hanging pictures. I don’t have to worry about making holes in my wall and the frames look so nice and flattering.

I've been using 3M Command Strips to mount my radar-based health monitor on the side of my bed, and they've worked great. They hold the device securely without damaging the bed frame or requiring any drilling. Installation was quick and easy, and the monitor has stayed firmly in place even with daily use. If you need a simple, removable way to mount lightweight electronics or sensors, I highly recommend these Command Strips.

So much better than the normal adhesive ones in my opinion because you can keep adjusting or remove stuff after you put it on. Like if you don't like a painting you hung up, just take it off and stick a new strip to the back and done. It may be too strong though; I had a some on for a few years and it took off a lot of paint with them when I removed it. Maybe I pulled it wrong so could just be my luck there.
