what's a good die to clean up a rusty 1/2 inch MIP iron pipe thread ?

The dies in this set are NPT, National Pipe Thread.

Die will not come out of the ratchet?

Press on back of the die, opposite the crome ring. It is held in with a ring clip and will pop free.

Where are the instructions to change the dies. How do I remove them and or change them?

I didn't receive any instructions either. To change the die just use a large flat head screwdriver, put it in between the die and the frame and twist. They are held in by a lock ring. With just a little pressure, it will come out.
