Great movie transfer was excellent very good picture and sound better by a lot than the Blu-ray also includes the extended cut which is much better extended cut is in 4K. Awesome release

This movie is completely different from the other Evil Dead movies that came before it. While they were horror comedies, this one is an all-out horror blood fest. I love the intensity of it, the acting & the story. I bought the 4K blu-ray. Shout! Factory chose to package this in a slipcover that has artwork identical to the inner cover. They also did not include a blu-ray or any new special features. For the price, that's unacceptable. My advice is to just buy the regular blu-ray. It looks just as good, has the same features & is much cheaper. If you thought the previous Evil Dead movies had a good premise but were too silly, & you prefer your horry movies to be scary rather than campy, buy this movie.

It came in great condition and all round great service

I am a big fan of te Evil Dead franchise and I will say that this movie have a different nice perspective of the first three original films, well done. I really enjoyed this movie from beginning to end, one more added to my Blu-ray 4k collection.

Non appena ho scoperto l'esistenza di questa edizione steelbook ho deciso che dovevo averla. Non sto a recensire il film in sé che reputo un eccellente horror, specie alla luce di tutti i terribili remake che oramai ci vengono propinati per carenza di idee e trovate nuove: questo film spacca lo schermo come già fece al tempo l'originale. Della cover c'è poco da dire: per un fan dell'horror rappresenta una vera chicca da esposizione. Peccato che al solito in Italia queste edizioni speciali ce le possiamo forse solo sognare, infatti le lingue audio disponibili sono solo l'inglese, il tedesco e il turco. Da collezionista di bluray del genere l'ho acquistata, comunque, senza pensarci 2 volte e subito affiancata alla versione italiana opportunamente scambiando i cd.

The movie was what I ordered meaning it included the unrated version but it didn't come in the pictured packaging and not even a slipcover which for the money (around £30 as it was a US import), was very disappointing. So just 1 disk in a flimsy slim plastic case. Film was great though & very gory with buckets of blood!
