They are the kings of the linen cupboard; truly products of some genius of the textile. A diligent wife, thorough in my duties, I began to notice occasional persistent stains in the fabric of the pillows on my husband's bed. I say 'heavily' as these are reassuringly expensive, though now essential items. The cost is offset by the requirement of just one set, however. I am content with my beige nylon pillow cases, purchased by my mother-in-law to celebrate our wedding, and being an unfussy sleeper, under my slumbering head, they survive many nights unscathed by pollution or secretions.
