It seems kind of stupid- wanting a hot meal in summer- but sometimes I just want a pot roast or a pasta dish but I can't turn on the stove or oven because it overheats the kitchen. This slow cooker is awesome! I love that it's programmable for start time. It heats up very quickly and gets food into the "safe zone" in the recommended time. It's a great size for both cooking for me and for a crowd. The inner crock is nice and heavy and is easy to clean. I got it Used - Like New and I haven't had any issues. I'm very happy with it and would certainly recommend it!
