Love the design and that it comes with a carry bag. Not as grippy as I hoped

The media could not be loaded.  This mat is marketed as a yoga mat, but it is better used as a regular floor exercise mat; it is lightweight, has great cushioning, and provides sufficient support for elbow and kneeling poses.The top surface is similar to suede- so not exactly slip resistant when you are doing yoga poses. Wearing yoga socks helps, but the hands still slip in downward facing dog.The printed design is beautiful and cheers me up every time I see it. I am using this mat for floor exercises during my Barre classes.Because the mat is quite thick, it is harder to roll it up. In order to keep it rolled up, I had purchased Gaiam slap strip- really helpful. Once the slap strip is on, it is easy to fit the carrying strap over the ends of the map.The bag that came with the map is not well made; the closure string on top completely broke out, busting the seam the first time I tried to tighten it.

I bought this mat for weight lifting exercises lying on the floor. That is fantastic for that.When I started to do yoga, I found doing downward-facing dog poise to be very slippery. It is okay to do other yoga poses.I love the print, and that it does not smell. I love the additional carrying bag that comes with it. I bought a new Gaiam yoga mat that stinks to high heaven.

Comfy mat, beautiful too! Unfortunately I find it a little slippery. My hands slip especially when I first start. Usually after it warms from my hands it's better but I am still careful.

This mat is great quality with a beautiful vibrant pattern. I do strength training and yoga in the morning and was trying to replace my worn yoga mat with a more durable option. The mat doesn't slip around at all on the floor which is a huge bonus but it's hard to keep the edges uncurled. I usually put an ankle weight on each end while I work out which solves the problem for the moment, though frustrating to do every day. I've left it unrolled all weekend and it was great on mo day but as soon as it was rolled up again the issue returned. I knocked off two stars because you have to get your hands and feet wet before doing much yoga like the downward dog pose otherwise you will slip and hurt yourself. For some of my exercises the slippery surface has helped but in other ways it's limited what I can do. For me, I can make it work but if you mainly do yoga, keep looking.

It was thinner then I expected. The print is beautiful and ships fast. It came with a thin bag and a carry strap.

I love this mat. It’s beautiful, it’s comfortable, and it is safe enough to use in hot yoga, though, I do use a mat cover for hot yoga, I notice if I sweat in other styles at my studio, I do not slip on this mat.
