This heater was great in theory but had poor quality and performance. This is the first heater I've tried that has the temperature adjustment on the cord and a digital readout. This was much easier to use than the traditional analog heaters I've used where you have to dip your hand underwater to turn a dial, and wait until the heater finished heating to figure out what temperature it was set to, and then adjust again. This heater also heated the water well, although there wasn't that much in my tank to heat up (only about 10-15 gallons). The digital display was easy to read and very bright.Unfortunately, the heater performed poorly in everything else. It stopped heating after only two months of use. The electronic display still works so I can see the current temperature, but it will not heat up, no matter what set point I adjust it to. Even when it was working as a heater, it had other problems. It would make a very loud clicking sound whenever the heating function turned on and off, and the heater would flicker on and off at a fast rate when the water temperature was close to the set point.The heater didn't explode after the heating function stopped working, so I guess the advertised anti-explosion feature works, but none of the other standard heaters I've used before have ever exploded either.

Been using it for about a month now finally and works pretty well. My only complaint is it's too tall and really bulky for a ten gallon tank be prepared to lay it down in the gravel... otherwise it's a decent product

I purchased 2 of the 100W heaters for my 36 gallons. They got the water to temperature within minutes. These are the best heaters I ever purchased and I owned tons in the last 3 years.

This product came with aquarium residue, at water line and even had green residue in packaging from the product

What I do not like about this heater/ thermometer for my fish tank sometimes it gets too cool in the tank or sometime it may get too warm in the tank and then the it starts flashing on and off and I end up buying a new one.

very bright digital temperature readout - easily read in 20gal low tank. readout brightness could be toned down as it acts as a nightlight. No issues with delivery - packed well.

Great product. Will buy it again. Love the light color options
