It does what it says
I purchased this because I twisted my ankle and it just wasn't healing. The brace I had wasn't providing a lot of support and I couldn't wear it with my shoes. This solved both of my problems. It's not super supportive so I wouldn't purchase this if my ankle was severely injured. However, for my ongoing pain and ankle weakness, this is exactly what I need. I love having the sleeve that I can wear all of the time for comfort plus the strap that comes with it and allows me to add additional support when my ankle is particularly bothering me. I have found that I can wear all of my (sensible) shoes with the sleeve and even with the strap, although some are a bit snug. Having two proved fortuitous when my son fell in a basketball game and twisted his ankle. I would have surrendered my brace to him, but it wasn't necessary. Plus, I was able to give him the strap I had with me to use immediately even without the sleeve until we could get him home and have the ankle iced. So the two parts are really handy.

Magic 😀
I have several chronic, suspected-though-undiagnosed heel issues. Based on what I do know, I believe them to be insertional Achilles tendinitis & a heel spur. I’ve played recreational tennis for years. In the last 2 weeks, these issues have risen to just under unbearable. It’s bad when I need to wear my medical boot in public. I found this compression sleeve after some research, and I ask, is it magic? I’ve worn it a few days now, a few hours each day, and I’ve combined it with the boot and an ice pack. I stopped limping yesterday and am able to do some minor stretching on the tendon & calf. It’s no substitute for an actual diagnosis, but I do believe this will hold me over through 2 more practices and 1 match. I am quite pleased with this compression sleeve, and the straps add a layer of extra stability. Well worth the price!

Really good socks - velcro end on the straps should be resized
I really like this sleeve. It does exactly what it claims to do. In and of itself, this is PLENTY. I've used various compression socks and sleeves with mixed results. This pair, from the first day I wore them, were terrific. I'm planning to try to do a mild jog tomorrow to test out the ankle support/shin splints. If these socks help with either of those, they are worth their weight in gold. Nevertheless, even for every day comfort and enhancement of circulation, I'm very satisfied with the sleeves. My one "gripe" if it can be called that: it is far too easy to miss the strap where the velcro is to attach and it tends to compromise the fabric of the sleeve. I suggest to the maker of this product that they adjust the size of the velcro end (or the strap) to help mitigate against this issue.

Surprisingly works really well
Bought for child who sprained ankle specifically ATF and CF ligament. Needed something that would give some lateral support. The compression sock itself gives some support then the support straps provide teh additional support. Apply strap using the figure 8 method shown on the amazon website. Surprisingly it is listed as a Free Bonus, but do not think the ankle sleeve itself is effective w/o the straps. DO NOT apply the velcro to the sleeve/sock itself. It will fray and pull the material apart. Other than that does what is supposed to do. It does allow movement, but gives quite a bit of support w/ mobility.

Great ankle brace. Best I’ve had.
I am healing from an avulsion fracture of my left ankle. Doc said I didn’t need to wear the boot anymore but gave me an ankle brace. I really didn’t like the brace he gave me and had trouble putting in my shoe. This brace works great. Feels very supportive and comfortable. I can slip on my shoe easily. I wear a woman’s size 8.5 shoe. I ordered the medium. Fits perfect. You won’t go wrong in buying this ankle brace.

My error but turned to a win
The sock part was incredibly tight, and when I added the wrap around strap, the Velcro tore up the sock so its not returnable. HOWEVER the reason I go them was to use with a workout bench. The manufacture of the bench supplied a anklet strap that I just couldn't make comfortable. Using the STRAP that came with the gonic foot sleeve without the sleeve was exactly what I needed! Since the sleeve is ruined by the strap, I'm going to keep them and maybe use for a DIY project. I would suggest you may want to order up a size.

Great product great price
I bought these because I read the reviews about them helping with calf pain in the morning. I've been sleeping with them on and keeping them on for my 15 minute walk to work in the morning and they made a huge difference. Previously I would practically be falling over from the stiffness and pain once I got to work but now I've been feeling much better. I was nervous I'd have to buy full ankle braces to sleep in but this product was a really effective and inexpensive alternative for my problem. Definitely worth the purchase!! As others have noted just be careful to not velcro on the "sock" part because it will get stuck and pull the fabric apart when you try to remove it. Just velcro the straps to themselves to avoid problems.

Simple but effective
The compression sock seems well made, if not much different than others I have tried. The key is the separate elastic strap, which goes under the arch of the foot and then around the ankle. As it is a separate strap, the user can adjust the tightness and the exact position pretty easily. Also, the sock can be washed without the strap. Very comfortable for daily use. Working out, the edges of the strap can chafe the ankle a bit--but again, one can readjust the strap placement.

Poor quality. Stitching is falling apart on the first attempt to put this on. It does provide dome support but i just stopped usung it.

Very light weight and breathable. The support you get on your ankles, from it is brilliant.
