I bought a 2012 Audi this August and I love it. While comparing it to my Mom’s 2011 VW Touareg, we noticed that it has the same features as her’s, including the music interface adapter in the glove box. But she didn’t have the usb cable. I saw this and thought ‘why not’. I plugged it in and at first it didn’t see it, but that’s because I plugged it in before starting the car (whoops) So I unplugged it and plugged it in again and the car saw it immediately. I put it a usb stick in it and it saw the mp3 files the I put on it. And I can control the music with the dials in my car. I love it!

Did not work. Did not charge my phone. Returned it.

This connector works well and is very clear sounding. It easy to install and arrived in two days.

This is confirmed working on MMI3GP. The AMI connector required a little more effort to insert than I'd prefer, but does fit once it's aligned properly. Other than that it's a simple and functional cable. I hear that other earlier versions of the MMI may look for different resistance levels on the pins so depending on the generation of the MMI it may or may not function.

Works well as a charger, doesn’t produce sound from cable.

Seems like it’s good quality, but won’t recognize any device I plug in with it on my 2015 Audi A8, seems like a cable issue considering it couldn’t even read a 2008 iPod Nano

Says that its not supported. charges my phone but wont play music
