The pieces are really of good quality, but they are very femma when bending the tabs as I had the difficulty of bending one of the tabs as it was in an awkward place to bend and it snapped but I superglued it in place,

Bought as a gift. Box smaller than expected but gift recipient happy with it. Good challenge for any modal maker.

I carefully thought about a new type of building/construction project for my son who is a lifelong Lego fanatic. He's had Lego sets for every Birthday and Christmas since he was 10. Tomorrow, 15th Nov 24, he turns 30!! I'm 'daring' to set him a new challenge and this is where I discovered Piececool Metal Modelling kits. I thought this would 'stretch' his brilliant model building skills to provide a new avenue of adventure. I bought The Queen Anne's Revenge kit as a start along this new adventure and, boy, I am not disappointed. Received a few days ago, even the unopened box has got me excited - it really looks brilliant. Cannot wait to see his face when he discovers this on his Birthday...... I can't wait to watch the model develop and grow - its the longest build time he has ever experienced. Would love to offer an update/review on his experience during and post build. Regarding the flying dutchman - parts very easy to break from one bend , the pictures make it look bigger than it is , and some pieces require bending of one milimeter, nevermind the actual piece is like 3 milimeters. The tools recomended are not even good, the scissors do not cut properly for example. Very poor experience, one big piece broke in two different spots from one bend. I do not recommend. And i understand it should take patience and some skilled hands, but when the metal is that thin, and you punchhole it where it needs to bend, it is goona break.

I bought it for my partner’s birthday because he love this models to build. I was so surprised when the package arrived because I told it’s much bigger. When my partner opened it He straight away, start to build it. It’s not for beginners. that’s for sure. It’s from metal but it looks so amazing. He still hasn’t got a chance to finish it but it has lot of tiny details on it which is incredible.

Whilst this is a very nice and very detailed item, sadly the guide for it is quite poor or just out of date. Firstly some of the parts are different colours to what is shown on the picture. Secondly, the guide refers you to piece numbers, however the image of the piece differs greatly from the piece in the set. Thirdly, the guide shows you to do something one way, but the end result would result in the coloured side facing the wrong way and just the shiny silver side on the outside, because the guide can be very misleading in this you end up bending bits back and forth and then they very easily break.

Habe das Schiff als Geschenk für meinen Partner gekauft und er war begeistert! Es ist sehr detailliert und schön gemacht, und kommt zum Glück mir relativ genauer Anleitung! Würde aber wirklich empfehlen, dass die Version mit dem dazupassenden Werkzeug genommen wird, ohne wird es sehr schwer, da die Teile sehr klein sind, fast zu klein für „normales“ Werkzeug! Und am besten sehr viel Zeit einplanen - es hat sehr viel Zeit gekostet, aber das Ergebnis ist es wert :)
