The green hinges work fantastic. I had gaps on both the right and left side of my garage door running from top to bottom. Standard big box store replacement garage door hinges will not work to seal gaps. After replacing the old hinges with the new spring-loaded green hinges, the door now presses-up nice-and-snug against the outer seal, and no more gaps, no more rattling when it is windy, and no more snow & rain creeping in thru the sides. And it was very easy to install.Be sure to follow the instructions on their website for getting the correct hinges for your door, and for installation instructions. This product is a very ingenious solution. And very glad it is made right here in the USA in Wisconsin. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it.

WoW! Massive change to my garage. it not only keeps it snug against the wall letting no light in. it is now tight so that the wind wont make it rattle all the time as before. super easy to install. and a great product!

These are solidly built hinges and a serious upgrade from the flimsy factory ones on the door. The springs work so well in sealing against the door I had to have a garage door guy come out and adjust it so it would move up and down without binding. He even commented on the quality of the hinges. Definitely recommend if your hinges are old, factory installed or flimsy metal - it will make a difference.

They look heavy duty and worked great on one side of my garage. One side of the garage tighten up and the other is still kind of loose. I can still see light coming in. Maybe I’ll need to adjust my garage door or something. Kind of expensive, but if you get them to work perfectly tightening both sides of the garage doors they are worth it.

Really happy with these hinges. All the gaps I had on the sides of my garage door are completely closed up now, so no more drafts sneaking in. As a bonus, the door is noticeably quieter when opening and closing too.Install was simple and took under an hour, no real tools or skills needed beyond basic stuff. Great upgrade for a 4-panel door if you're trying to seal up your garage and cut down on energy loss.

These are amazing. I purchased new rollers to add to these hinges. It took about an hour to install and solved the problem with the air gap around my door. I read a review that these don't work to close the gap at the top of the door. On my Clopay door there is an adjustment to adjust the roller to close that gap. I am very happy with these and would definitely recommend them to anyone that has outside door seals that are in good condition but have a garage door that doesn't close tightly.

These work great. My garage is under my house. In the winter our basement would be cold and drafty, really bad with storms as the doors would rattle like crazy.Well, I've had them in for a few days now and its quite noticeable how much tighter the door seals to the house.It's July so I can't tell you how it holds up to a nor'easter, but is going to be better.As for cost, yes they are 8x more than a package of Chinese oem style hinges, but they are more complex and they perform a specific function. I think cost is reasonable for me. If they keep the basement warmer then I will save on propane heating costs. Additionally, I just had my garage door guy out two weeks ago to replace some rusted track and I had him replace the bottom seals on eash door.The cost? $250These new spring hinges were half that and truly finish the job of sealing up the doors. Putting them in was simple and took me less than 30 minutes for two doors. I replaced the rollers too at the same time.So far all works great.

These work great! Can't believe how these helped keep our door sealed as we get strong winds where we're at. Very easy install!

Overpriced but well made, will last a long time

Hinge material is twice the thickness of the original. Works by applying pressure against outer door seal. Keeps my door from shaking during a windstorm now. Installation is a breeze, just follow the number that are clearly marked on the hinges. A little on the expensive side, but quality does cost a little more. Installed on a 30 plus year, Wayne Dalton 9 ft. wide door. I am not sooty for buying these and highly recommend them

Springs are very nice and work well.

Easy to install. Does the job as intended.
