Ade Advanced Optics RD3-006 Reflex Sight for Handgun – Compact Optic with Doctor/Venom Footprint, Green/Blue Dot Options, Picatinny Mount Included, Reflex Sight for Pistols and Scopes

I waited awhile to make a review on this optic. It acceded my expectations but a big margin. I bought this to put on a 9mm SAR k2P. Holds zero, the dot is easy to see and despite me grabbing it to rack the slide the finish and glass hasn't been effected. If your looking for a budget friendly micro dot i suggest you try this one out.

I wanted to install an optic sight on my Tarus PT809 pistol. There was no documentation on which sight would work with my PT809 pistol. I went with this model for the value. The Docter (Docter/Noblex mounting). allowed this fit right on and it looks really nice. I'm still setting it up, but adjustment looks fairly simple. Looking throught the sight the green dot seem very well lit.

Although, when shopping for items such as this, there are so many items on the market, that you really have to be careful and then, hope for the best. :-) In this case, I believe the right choice was made upon purchasing this ADE Optic. Once I was able to get the correct bracket (which is not included) thus 4 stars instead of 5, for my XD Mod 2 .45, the installation was fairly straight forward. Of course, removing the rear sight wasn't an easy proposition, but doable nonetheless. I was able to then do a range visit, shoot the weapon and adjust sight lines, so that I'm now comfortable with the product and it shoots true, with about 150 rounds down range. Not a lot, "but", enough to know that it's working just fine. Not sure about durability as of yet, but that's next. Buy this product without worry, it works as designed. Thanks,

There may be a practical use for this but I’ll probably go back to iron site. For a pistol, it’s cumbersome. You have to turn it on otherwise it makes it hard to aim in a hurry. I had to modify my holster too. Holding zero is yet to be seen. It seems well built and all but for concealed carry it adds too much and can’t be left on. Just not my best purchase. Good company and if it’s something you are OK with then you should get it. Just don’t loose your OEM sites.

It got here quickly, was packaged good, has tools, cover, dial in scale tool, actual instructions, cleaning cloth. Sight is not cheap looking. Made from solid aluminum, green dot is clear and sharp, highest brightness setting is very bright and does have a slight "desert sun at noon" starburst. This doesn't bother me because I wont ever use it where I am. Wife likes it there for her use. I used It on a 22 pistol for competition 1" Disc, Steel tree, shooting. Went right on, adjusted easily, stayed on true the whole time for about 250 shots. Friends with higher end optics Liked it too. I do understand Chinese production and sometimes a bad one does get by, just like here. Always a gamble with online purchasing for sure. Friend got a broken U.S. made sight right out of the box for $500+ I'll get back after next time out with an update.

The optic looks good and has a decent price. I gave it a try. I installed the sight on my pistol and sited it in using a laser bore sighter that I have used before with excelent success. Took the pistol to the range and attempted to hit the target. The green dot would never stay in one spot after firing. even after adjusting windage, elevation and the set screws. (12" steel plate at 5 yards. ) When sighting down the side of the gun I could hit the plate but was lucky to hit it while looking through reflex sight. Do yourself a favor and find something else. To add insult to injurry I have to pay return shipping. :(

Just received my ADE Advanced Optics RD3-006A green dot mini reflex and have mounted it on my Glock 19 gen 3. I received it quickly, on time for me anyway and in excellent packaging with, to my surprise, tools even though I wouldn’t need them. Someone, however, may. Very good idea. The dot is nice and bright and the controls, mounts and glass are all commensurate with a much pricier option. The dot loses its edge with the higher intensity settings. The green dot is sharp, bright but at the highest setting you get a halo starburst effect. No matter, I will probably not use that setting; there are a few other settings that are effective. This was very easy to install you want to try out a red dot before going to a more high-end piece, this will work and to Zero In. Best purchase I have made for the price and outstanding for what you get.

What more can I say but you can't beat the price, durability,and function. This great little sight is just what I needed for my Canik tp9sfx. I own mostly Sig products and seems to be just as good as they are. Thanks for producing a quality sight at a affordable price.
